We were lucky to catch up with Interscare Sleep recently and have shared our conversation below.
Interscare, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
From the moment I first pressed “upload” on YouTube, I knew I was hooked. Over the years, I had dabbled in various channels—video editing, haunted house reviews, even internet mystery essays. While none of those early attempts gained much traction, they ignited something deep within me: the desire to create. But despite all the hard work, success remained elusive.
Then, one evening, my wife, Mrs. Interscare, said something that changed everything. After hearing my voice on one of my old videos, she casually remarked, “You’ve got a soothing voice. You’d be great at narrating stories to help people sleep.” Her words lingered, and when she later introduced me to channels like Being Scared, where creators shared spooky tales for people to fall asleep to, I realized something: maybe this was the niche I’d been searching for all along.
It made perfect sense. Horror had always been my passion, and combining it with storytelling seemed like a natural fit. So, I decided to give it a shot. I gathered a few creepy stories, turned on some ambient rain sounds in the background, and recorded my first video. It was a full hour of chilling narration, designed to send shivers down your spine while lulling you to sleep. When I played it for Mrs. Interscare, she loved it—but after several nights of falling asleep to the same stories, she eventually asked for something new.
That’s when I created my second video. And this one… this one took off. I remember waking up the next morning, checking my phone, and seeing 1,000 views overnight. I gained several hundred subscribers in one day. Suddenly, the spark of creativity Mrs. Interscare had lit inside me grew into something more—a flicker of potential, of possibility. We realized that this wasn’t just another experiment. We had something here.
From that point on, I doubled down. Each video was an opportunity to improve, to fine-tune my craft. The views kept climbing, the audience kept growing, and soon enough, I hit a major milestone: I qualified for the YouTube Partnership Program. Monetizing my content meant that this passion—this love for horror and storytelling—could become more than just a hobby.
And so, a dream that began with a casual remark turned into a full-time career. Today, I get to narrate eerie, chilling tales for a living, connecting with thousands of listeners from around the world. And none of it would have happened without the spark that Mrs. Interscare ignited that day.

Interscare, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’ve always been drawn to storytelling. My journey into video creation started back in high school when I joined my school’s broadcast journalism class. That experience opened my eyes to the world of video production, and I loved every second of it—shooting, editing, and creating stories that connected with an audience. From there, I knew this was what I wanted to pursue, so I eventually went on to attend film school, where I honed my skills further.
As the owner of Interscare Media Group, I now focus on horror narration, primarily through YouTube, where I narrate chilling, eerie stories designed to entertain and even help people fall asleep. My content ranges from long-form storytelling with ambient background sounds to curated horror podcasts. What I offer is a mix of entertainment and comfort—a unique blend of suspenseful storytelling that helps listeners unwind and relax.
What sets me apart from others in this niche is my background in both broadcast journalism and film. This gives me a deep understanding of the technical aspects of storytelling—how to pace a narrative, how to build suspense, and how to connect with an audience. I’m also hands-on in every aspect of the content creation process. Whether it’s video editing, audio design, or even the subtleties of voice narration, I take pride in the craftsmanship that goes into each project.
I’m most proud of the fact that what started as a hobby has grown into a full-time career. Reaching that point was a massive milestone for me. It took years of experimentation and learning, but I’m grateful for every step of the journey. From haunted house reviews to mystery essays, all those early attempts shaped the content creator I am today.
One thing I want potential followers and fans to know is that Interscare Media Group isn’t just about the scary stories. It’s about creating an experience—immersing the listener in a world where they can escape, relax, and lose themselves in the unknown. Whether you’re a hardcore horror fan or someone looking for a way to unwind before bed, I aim to provide an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Ultimately, the brand is about blending fear with comfort, telling gripping stories that draw you in while offering an unexpected sense of solace. It’s that unique balance that defines my work, and it’s what I think resonates most with my audience.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is knowing that my work has a meaningful impact on people’s lives. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about seeing my audience not only enjoy the stories I share but also finding comfort and relief through them. Many of my listeners struggle with insomnia or anxiety, and the fact that my content helps them relax and fall asleep is deeply gratifying. It’s more than just storytelling—it’s creating a space where people can escape, unwind, and find a sense of peace. Knowing that my creative venture has that kind of positive influence is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One story that really illustrates my resilience comes from the early days of building my YouTube channel. Before I found success with Interscare Media Group, I had launched multiple other YouTube channels over the years—focused on everything from haunted house reviews to internet mystery video essays. Despite my passion and effort, none of those projects really took off. It was frustrating to put in hours of work, only to see minimal results. But each failure taught me something valuable, and I never stopped creating.
Then one day, after all those attempts, my wife, Mrs. Interscare, suggested I try narrating scary stories. She told me I had a soothing voice and encouraged me to use that to help people fall asleep—just like channels like Being Scared. Her idea sparked something new in me, and I decided to give it a shot. I uploaded my first video, and while it didn’t go viral, it was well-received by her and a small group of viewers. Then, my second video took off overnight, gathering around 1,000 views and several hundred subscribers in just one night. That success didn’t come without effort, though—there were years of trial, error, and learning from past failures behind it.
Resilience, to me, is about persistence and adapting when things don’t go as planned. I didn’t give up when my early channels didn’t work out. Instead, I kept trying, evolving my approach, and learning what resonated with my audience. Today, I’m able to do what I love full-time, and none of it would have been possible without that determination to keep going, even when things seemed uncertain.
