INSANE, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers
Long story short, I’m a two time brain cancer survivor. The surgeries left me with partial nerve damage on my right side. The part of my brain they removed controls my mobility and motor skills. I technically shouldn’t be able to properly produce music, because that part of my brain that creates creativity is gone.
So never give up on God and won’t give up on you!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I got into the music industry at the age of 15. I was signed to Columbia Records for doing bgvs for a group called Tye Tribbett and Greater Anointing aka GA. Through that group I went on to sing background vocals on the Grammy Award winning song Cry Me A River. As well as songs for Common, India Arie and many others.
When I was diagnosed with brain cancer I was determined to win! It was rough but with Gods help I made it through.
I started a clothing line during the pandemic called iMSOBLESSED apparel.
Just as a reminder on your chest that we’re All blessed.
I also operate and own my own recording studio in New Jersey. Where countless artists have come to record their music.
What sets me apart from other producers is I do All my production with one hand. As well I can produce singers and rappers because of my musical background.
I’m mostly proud of the fact that I haven’t given up on music. It’s sometimes difficult when you are anointed. So I just try to keep looking forward.

Having brain cancer and going through surgery twice within two weeks is nothing but resilience.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I had to unlearn that all friends support you.
