Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Inga Zulfic . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Inga , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We love heartwarming stories – do you have a heartwarming story from your career to share?
I am fortunate and blessed to say that throughout the many years of my aesthetic nursing practice I heard many heartwarming stories and met so many beautiful souls.
Being able to allow an individual to enhance their physical appearance so they feel confident in how they look is an amazing feeling.
I also love that I am able to make a change through education and support in my clients emotional and physical health.
The world of aesthetic nursing is extraordinarily diverse because we not only build meaningful relationships but also empower our clients to be their best selves.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I was born in Bosnia but moved to Germany when I was 13 years old. I attended high school and nursing school there.
Shortly after graduating nursing school in 1998 my family moved to Atlanta where we started a whole new life.
I wasn’t even aware that my career in aesthetics began when I started working as an assistant at Paces Plastic Surgery in Atlanta. That was only 4 months after we had moved to the USA.
I was blessed to meet some amazing people as well as some of the world known plastic surgeons who helped me tremendously, even with learning English. I will forever be grateful and thankful for their help and amazing opportunity they had given me.
Fast forward 24 years and a few big life lessons later, I found myself in 2021 where I finally decided to go after my longtime dream of owning a Med Spa.
It makes me joyful to help people and being an Aesthetic Nurse allows me to help my clients with their confidence and to make a difference in their lives in many other ways.
I enjoy keeping up with anything new in aesthetics and educating my clients on latest skincare tricks, tips and treatments.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Treating everyone how I like to be treated with kindness ,honesty and respect.
Setting realistic expectations as well as educating clients in treatment options has always been my motto.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
I am an artistic person by nature.
I love style, decorating , gardening, painting so being in the aesthetic field allows me to show that side of me as well as my attention to detail.
I also like to educate my clients on the treatment process.
