We were lucky to catch up with Indigo McCoy recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Indigo thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
I’m glad I started my career early. I just wish I invested my money in the content so it would’ve expanded me when I was older, instead of just saying whatever.
Indigo, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I got into my hobby with social media (Musically) when I was 13 years old from watching YouTube videos on the computer and then from there I knew I wanted to entertain people for the camera. I started out just having fun and then wanted to show my real talent so I would just set the phone up anywhere in my house and make videos to those I felt who like them and who was keeping up with my entertainment on social media. I can say that I’m different from others because I started on my own with no help or ideas from anyone, it all just came from me. I made it work with my unique and rare ability. I can say that I’m happy with what I started because I got people to like me for doing what entertained myself .
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I wish I knew about Linktree when I first started as it would’ve made it way easier for all my other supporters to find all my other socials.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The love the enjoyment of seeing others thoughts and feedback on my post or music videos.
