We were lucky to catch up with India J recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, India thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?

My Passion For Graphic Design Began In 2018 as a junior in highschool. I began with free flyer designs for my friends & family. My mother encouraged me to evaluate my creative skills to start my own business. The one suggestion expanded my mind to the wonderful possibilities that come with graphic design.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My First Dream Occupation Growing Up as A Child was a lawyer due to my love of the criminal justice profession. I use to watch law and order dreaming about becoming that one day. As a junior in 2018 i wanted to start a business & need a logo design. I created my first one & loved it , showed a few friends & they asked for some designs. The more I designed the bigger my design passion began , designing became my safe haven.

The more design i was giving out my mother gave me the idea to turn a hobby into a business & In 2019 Designzbyindy was born. My business launch was more successful than i could imagine. 2021 i did reinvent myself to India J Designs.

India J Designs Is A Freelance Graphic Design Company, We designed for business & commercial clients. Our scope of service includes Website Development, Marketing, Branding Management & More. We offer a range of services for any business niche.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

It May Seem Cliche Or Maybe Used Often , The Honest & Best Way To Grow Your Clientele Is Consistency! Stay Consistent With Your Business enhances new clients/ customers. As a client/ customer you must as yourself would you be interested a company with no since a drive within their social media presence?

Social media has became the biggest marketing platform for business to showcase their brand, consumers are attracted to the marketing.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

As I began designing a couple things i wish i would’ve known would is researching the graphic design industry , learning my own design skills/ techniques.

For any industry you are interested in joining I would suggest researching about it , learning the history behind the industry itself.
