We were lucky to catch up with Inbal Claudio recently and have shared our conversation below.
Inbal, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Back in 2019, I was a small business owner of a candle company and a first-time mom. I was experienced with in-person shows and events but knew I had to pivot to more of an online presence when my first daughter was born. With the small budget that I had, I tried everything I could, but at the end of the day, I felt defeated while my bank account dwindled. I had no entrepreneur friends and didn’t know what to ask and to whom. I was looked at as a dollar sign to coaches and agencies instead of as a small business owner. At the same time, I knew I wasn’t alone and that millions of small business owners, like myself, were struggling to get off the ground. So I created a platform designed for us to solve our common problems, and that’s how LMC came to be!

Inbal, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
Funding Like Minded Collective has been a collaborative effort involving various sources. In the initial stages, my parents generously contributed a small amount of money to help kickstart our journey. My grandma also showed her support by providing a modest contribution.
However, a significant portion of the funding has come from my personal resources and the dedicated support of my husband. We both believe deeply in the mission and vision of Like Minded Collective, and we’ve been committed to investing our own funds to make it a reality.
In addition to these sources, I’ve been leveraging the profits from my candle company to further fuel the growth of Like Minded Collective. It’s been an exciting journey of channeling resources from one endeavor to support another that shares a common purpose.
Overall, it’s been a combination of family support, personal investment, and leveraging the success of my candle business that has enabled the continued growth and impact of Like Minded Collective. Thank you for your interest, and I’m thrilled to continue building a platform that brings people together for positive change!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Collaboration has been a cornerstone of our approach. Teaming up with like-minded individuals and brands to cross-promote and introduce our mission to new audiences. Sharing stories of inspiring women in my community has also resonated well, fostering a sense of connection and empowerment.
Contests have played a significant role in engaging our audience. By hosting contests that encouraged people to share photos related to our mission, we not only sparked participation but also amplified our message through user-generated content.
The ambassador program we launched a year ago was a game-changer. Enlisting other passionate women to share about Like Minded Collective has expanded our reach exponentially. These ambassadors have become advocates for our cause, spreading the word and building a strong community around our platform.
Above all, authenticity and genuine relationships have been key. By connecting with women on a personal level, we’ve cultivated a supportive environment where everyone’s voice is valued. This approach has allowed our social media presence to grow organically, driven by shared values and a sense of belonging.
