Ina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

Throughout my life, I’ve always had an unwavering conviction towards pursuing a professional career in art and creativity. This calling has been deeply rooted in my heart, and I have never envisioned any other path for myself. The significance of contributing to the world as a storyteller, performer, designer, and artist has always resonated with me, and I am committed to following this passion wholeheartedly.

I am a Creative Technologist, dedicated to crafting captivating stories through the art of worldbuilding and immersive experiences. With a background in Architecture and Design, I have found my creative outlet through the incredible capabilities of Unreal Engine, a powerful game engine. Embracing a multidisciplinary approach, I draw inspiration from various fields such as Architecture, design, music, philosophy, and history, allowing me to infuse diverse elements into my projects.

My unique strength lies in blending the worlds of Art and Technology seamlessly. Currently, I am employed as an Unreal Engine Content Creation artist at a VFX company that specializes in Virtual Production for feature films and TV shows. Here, I get to leverage my skills to contribute to stunning visual effects and virtual worlds that captivate audiences worldwide.

Besides my professional work, I fervently follow my personal interests as a researcher and performer. I use Unreal Engine as the interface and combine it with my profound love for music and captivating experiences to delve into the world of Realtime audiovisual Live Cinema. Through this venture, I constantly strive to push creative boundaries and tell stories in an interactive and dynamic manner. Ultimately, my mission has always been to unite people in awe-inspiring moments of wonder.

This journey as a Creative Technologist allows me to channel my passion for art, technology, and storytelling into a fulfilling and impactful career, leaving a mark on the world through immersive and unforgettable experiences.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

For me, each project is akin to a sacred “ritual.” The ability to evoke awe through visuals, sound, and even other sensations in the future is of utmost significance in my creative practice. This process allows me to establish a unique sense of control over the environment, enabling me to communicate on a profound level without relying on verbal words. In turn, this fosters a deep and meaningful connection among humans, reinforcing the sense of community that binds us together.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

Embrace curiosity and generosity. Curiosity fuels our desire to explore, learn, and marvel at the world, and it is within this pursuit that art thrives. As we delve into the realms of curiosity, a natural cycle of financial and creative support emerges, where artists give back to society by expressing what intrigues and captivates its members.
