We were lucky to catch up with Imari Reynolds recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Imari, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
I’m sure there will be many milestones that will be reached on this journey. However, as of right now, one of the meaningful projects I’ve been working on is called, “Imari Entertainment.” It’s my first EP that will be real eased Fall 2022 and I’m so excited to share this with my supporters.
I’ve spent countless hours working on a lot working on these songs. I can assure the process wasn’t easy. Especially when you have to juggle with other responsibilities. But, one of the things I’ve learned, is learning to have fun, be in tune with my body and voice, and focusing my mind.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I very much appreciate the feature from Shoutout ATL. To the readers who isn’t familiar with me. My name is Imari Reynolds. I am a Actor, YouTuber, and Musician. I have over 40 TV/Film credits, over 200 videos on YouTube, and music streaming on platforms. Even though I’ve entertaining most of life, I started making this a career 5 years ago. To this day, it’s a passion of mine.
For a reader, who’s wondering if they should take a chance on their dream. I definitely feel like it’s self worthy. You don’t owe anyone anything. It’s your life, make wise choices!!
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is being able to build a relationship with my fans. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am, today. It’s been times I almost gave up on the artistry. Sacrifices, countless hours, cramping all these ideas, putting projects in motion.
I love it all though, it’s how I’m growing as an artist. I can’t wait for y’all to check out my new EP, ““Imari Entertainment” is now available on all music platforms.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Some resources I wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey is building a team. I’ve been used to doing it all with ease. Well, just acting…now that I want to pursue Music and venture to other activities, as well, it’s been a struggle to balance it all. So, now I have strong, High communicative team behind me. My advice to anyone starting off fresh, looking to be a Entrepreneur. You will need a team, for sure!
