Imajen , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

At Imajen Films, we are more than just a production company; we are the architects of imagination, the stewards of diversity, and the champions of authenticity. Our core belief is simple yet profound: Stories have the power to awaken the childlike imagination in everyone. At Imajen, we specialize in crafting narratives that transcend the ordinary, dive into the complexity of the human experience, and transport audiences to worlds yet unexplored. We understand that genuine storytelling isn’t confined to black and white; it thrives in the infinite shades of gray.

Our guiding light is The God of the universe and His son, Jesus Christ, through whom we are able to do all things.

Our talent is in the art of storytelling through the eyes and cultural nuances of persons of color. We embrace diversity as our greatest strength, amplifying voices that have long been underrepresented in cinema. Imajen Films is dedicated to weaving the rich tapestry of cultures, experiences, and perspectives into every frame, fostering a sense of unity and understanding.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Imajen Films was established by Jenna Reimonenq in 2020 and is headquartered in historic downtown, Atlanta, Georgia. Although a small team, our collective experience has allowed us to explore the depths of human experience, character development, and intricate plots but At Imajen Films, we’re also more than just industry experts. Our team is a dynamic blend of talents and backgrounds that include acting, music production, finance, tech, education, real estate, and more, we’re a versatile force that thrives on a genuine passion for the arts and creative opportunities for independent artists to live up to their potential in the industry.

Each member of our distinguished board has bestowed not only their invaluable time and financial support but also their profound reverence to sculpt the tapestry of Imajen Films. As pioneers of the independent artist movement, we proudly employ an exquisite and hands-on approach in every narrative we embrace and with every artist who chooses to be a part of our compelling journey.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

The mission for my company, Imajen Films is to be make a mark in independent film in the Atlanta area and our only goal is to produce great work unto God. Our core belief is that stories have the power to awaken the childlike imagination in everyone, so it is a power to be used for the greatest good — this is the drive behind everything. We have power, it should not be abused or mismanaged.

I feel I can safely speak for the team when I say: we believe we are more than just a production company; we are the architects of imagination, the stewards of diversity, and the champions of authenticity. We’re not afraid of the complexity of the human experience, and we embrace diversity as our greatest strength.

We just want to make a mark of quality on this industry.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

My advice for managing a team is to find out what they want, their goals whether personal or professional, their desires, their language, what makes them excited, what makes them mad, etc. and help them achieve those things.

Make humanity your personal goal for your team and everything else will fall into place. You won’t have to plan for “high morale” and you’ll do less team building because you’re invested in them, and in turn, they are invested in you.

My team is my favorite part of my business. There is no Imajen Films without the special men and women who have largely supported this business without expectation. It means everything to me and so, their concerns are my concerns. I think that’s the secret to a great team. Humanity.
