Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Iesha McIntosh-Williams . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Iesha, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My purpose/mission for Divas on Demand Org, is to cultivate, inspire, and empower young girls between the ages of 9-18 years old. Today, girls go through many challenges. This generation of girls are being exposed to bullying, Teen Pregnancy, Drugs, Physical Abuse, Mental Abuse, human trafficking, self-esteem issues, and underestimation of self-worth. With Divas on Demand, we provide vital tools needed through literacy, education, life skills, and health & wellness to help girls through those dark moments and become leaders and difference makers in their communities. Here at Divas on Demand Org, INC, we see the value in our Young Ladies. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2016, we have been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress.
As a teenager… I always wanted to grow up and motivate and help young girls get through life obstacles. What gave me that passion to have a goal as such is because of Life obstacles I went through! I wanted to help the next Generation to come. I became a mother at 15. I was told I would not be anything or do anything. Because of people and their thoughts… I made up my mind that I was going to be the opposite of what statistics say I would be. So, I made sure I graduated high school and College! But, as a young girl and even as an adult… I battled with many things such as Teen Pregnancy, Depression, Bullying, Low-self-esteem, Molestation, Suicidal Thoughts, 2 Failed Marriages, Abusive Relationships, and Homosexuality. I settled for so much because I did not Love myself. I know from my experiences what it means to be at my lowest and try to do things alone. I came from a two-parent home, and I was very loved by my parents! But that does not exempt me from life! I still had my own journey. I remember the nights I would lie in bed or curled up in a corner just crying out. I just did not feel like I was worth it! I felt like I was better not existing. I know the feeling of being choked out until you cannot breathe. I know what I went through but, by God’s grace He has brought me through all those hard/dark moments. I was beaten, battered, and shattered physically, mentally, and emotionally from those moments but God restored Me! So, I chose to do something different and tell my story because I know my story would help others. In 2016 God showed me in a dream that I would create a nonprofit to do exactly what I was called to do. That was to Give back and Help as many girls as possible and women in need. So, I began my non-profit Divas on Demand Org. DIVA stands for Divine, Inspiring, Victorious Women, Always Now and forever… And there is a High Demand for us! My purpose is to serve and help the people! And I plan to do Just That!
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Honestly, I built the audience I have now by Being myself! I am an open book! I love to talk, encourage others, and motivate people. So, I continuously put myself out there! So, days I may go live on different platforms, or I may develop several different community motivational events for the community.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When I was 15 years old, I got pregnant with my oldest son. I remember I had so many people talking negative about me, and I even had a teacher and different family members tell me I would not be able to finish school, or I would not be anything in life. All because I got pregnant. At that age, those words could of ate me alive! I could have allowed their doubts to become my reality! But I did not! I made it my business or mission to prove my doubters wrong! Now, here I am 31 years old with not only a Highschool Diploma, but an associate degree, and I am a multi-business owner! Not to mention, I am CEO of Divas on Demand, Organization, Inc a nonprofit that helps young girls that are or was like me! I want them to know the doubters may be present, but your support is bigger! And, that they are still Worthy and Valuable!
