Reflecting on my path as a birth and postpartum doula, three significant moments have truly defined my career:

Firstly, as a child, I was lucky to assist my grandmother, who was certified in early childhood education. Her classes provided me with valuable insights into the birth process and the importance of supportive care. This early exposure sparked my passion for birth work and set me on this fulfilling journey.
Secondly, going through my own childbirth experience was a transformative moment. Despite having support, I felt deeply alone and scared. This firsthand encounter increased my empathy for expecting mothers and reinforced the essential need for compassionate guidance and care during such a vulnerable time.
Lastly, the unexpected furlough from my job due to the pandemic in 2020 became the catalyst for launching my doula business. While stepping out on my own was intimidating, it also allowed me to wholeheartedly pursue my passion and contribute meaningfully to my community.
