Hoodstar, appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
As an eager Person trying to learn about music, there’s alot of $ I invested into the wrong information & also wrong companies etc that turned into lessons, there’s ppl who Prey on this eagerness & thrive off of using unknowledgeable artist. The Best teacher for me were mentors, rather it be other successful artist, radio show personalities, managers etc. I ignored so much good advice when it could have made my learning that much quicker & easier.
Hoodstar before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Growing up, my Uncles were signed Artist, I looked up to them & wanted to be like them, as them being the Male role models in my life. I create all kinds of music depending on the Artist im working with or how im feeling at the time, also depending the audience. I create music that can still be related to & felt, I dont copy anyones set “style”. Im Proud of my Networking skills & how far its gotten me, with the Help of a Few key Players that wanna see me Win.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Networking, traveling, features. All of these are how you grow, people have to see you before they hear you & before they hear you, your energy/Presence has to attract them.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Looking Back at where you grew from, from getting 1-20 streams. To 100-500, to the thousands, to the hundred thousands, to millions. Its all a Process but amazing to watch.
