We were lucky to catch up with Holly Sisa recently and have shared our conversation below.

Holly, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

After the death of my first child, I fell into a deep depression and became suicidal. After years of insanity, and seeing how many people have been affected by injustice, I decided to turn my pain into purpose thus Morning Mimosas podcast was born.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I provide the truth and a way of change. I speak up on stigmas that need breaking. Getting solutions for crime by becoming a detective.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I can’t save everyone and I have to be okay with. The backstory is I want to save the world but I know that’s not possible.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I’m using my creativity to make effective change and to be recognized nationally is a beautiful thing. My message is being heard.
