Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Hilde Elder. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hilde, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
The moment that transformed my life and redirected my career was when my mother took her last breath. I was 14 weeks pregnant with my first of 4 blessings and had been practicing holistic medicine for 6 years at that point. Now with 20+ years in the field I can look back and say that was the moment when everything shifted and I up-leveled my life in every which way I could. Firstly, the spiritual connection her passing gifted me with offered me new lenses through which everything I perceived suddenly was interconnected, interdependent and interwoven. I was no longer able to separate the mind from the body from the spirit.
With this quantum wisdom unearthed, my skills accelerated, my well of love deepened, my faith in God/Source/Creator soared to new heights and my intuition turned up several notches.
Having the opportunity to facilitate a humans transitioning from their 3D body into the higher realms is a great honor that will change your life. It isn’t easy but it is one of the most extraordinary experiences.
In my case, my mother was graciously released from her body after a 31 year battle with a rare autoimmune disorder, 28 years of being on prednisone daily and eventually developing multiple myeloma. She was sick my entire life, is high added to the fact that my father was a John’s Hopkins Physician, inspired me to pursue a career path in medicine. However, I opted for preventative methods and thus studied Asian Medicine for 4 years, apprenticed under master herbalists for 2 years, studied Functional Medicine for another 2 years and delved into the practices of meditation, qi gong, yoga and breathwork.
The grief my body was holding from that defining moment of my mother taking her final breath, was finally released through the integration of esoteric acupuncture with breathwork and micro-dosing psilocybin.
My career path has been redirected to embodying Holistic healing through the integration of all above mentioned, offering a truly unique and customizable approach for each individual seeking my support.
Hilde, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My practice consists of people with all sorts of conditions from GI issues like IBS, leaky gut, parasitic infections to Lyme disease, cancer, autoimmune, anxiety, Gynecological conditions, migraines, to pain conditions or even just feeling lost. I offer in person and remote healing sessions with customized nutrition programs, extensive functional lab tests, herbal medicine, lifestyle changes and a wide range of healing modalities.
My 3 month Masterclass programs take a holistic approach in small groups with weekly support and weekly sessions incorporating everything mentioned as well as embodiment yoga, quantum coaching, guided meditation, breathwork and sound journeys.
The Bodhi Room refers to the space within each of us where we awaken to our highest potential and align with our highest self. Essentially, this is where we activate our light body, blast through karma, release old narratives and up-level our consciousness. It is my great honor to invite anyone ready to heal and evolve, into the Bodhi Room.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I inherited poverty complex from my German father who survived WW2 Germany. His homes were bombed and he was raised in survival mode. He’s remained in survival mode and never bought a nice car or first class tickets for himself, despite having earned it after becoming a world renowned Medical Doctor. It has taken me 15 years of consciously being aware of this impediment, to clear. I had to unlearn and de-program in order to reset and call in the new frequencies of being worthy of abundance. Many healers and light workers know this story quite well. How many times have I said, “if I won the lottery I’d do what i do for a voluntary contribution!” (I understood free wasn’t a healthy or balanced energy exchange.) Poverty complex is different from impostors syndrome. I always struggled taking money from patients and wished money wasn’t necessary to afford proper healthcare. Alas, it is and investing in our health is energetically very motivating and solidifies our commitment to our healing journey.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
I would but I would have opted out of undergrad and instead taken premed classes and gone to Western Med school while studying Asian Medicine. I feel that while my undergrad was scholastically and ugh as CU Boulder offered the coolest classes (my favorite being ET life!), I could have more efficiently studied pre med and accelerated my direction: but that’s me putting on my 20/20 glasses and I know that I needed those formative years in undergrad to evolve on so many levels.
