We were lucky to catch up with Henry Nelson-Case recently and have shared our conversation below.
Henry, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you have any thoughts about how to create a more inclusive workplace?
Flexible working isn’t simply allowing employees to work from home but still require them to be attached to their desk during 9-5 hours.
Flexible working is enabling employees to work in a way that works for them to help manage personal responsibilities and reduce stress. This flexibility should be a given for employees, managed through open and honest conversations – to ensure an appropriate balance of work demands and other responsibilities, rather than something that an individual has to earn or fight for.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a five year qualified lawyer from the UK, and a content creator as well. I strive to promote the importance of mental health in the workplace and challenges toxic corporate behaviors. On social media, I create relatable and impactful content that positively touches the lives of all those who have been affected by negative corporate workplace behaviors. I am also a co-founder of a creator community (The Creator Space) created by creators for creators. With my personal experience in the legal profession and a passion for mental health awareness, my aim is to foster a community of people that can openly talk about their experiences and support each other.
I have partnered with brands such as LinkedIn, Deloitte, Lenovo, Samsung, Sainsburys, BBC, Adobe, First Choice, eBay, Herman Miller, Cisco, Grammarly, Colgate, monday.com and many others to create brand campaigns. Alongside, featuring in publications such as The BBC, The Independent, The Metro, CNET and Huffington Post. Public speaking events include speaking about workplace wellbeing to law firm leaders at University of Oxford, The Alternative Events In-House Legal Conference, TEDx where I spoke about the impact of toxic masculinity stereotypes on men’s’ mental wellbeing, hosted sessions at All About Laws virtual law fair and Legal Ed Con 2023 hosted by Legal Cheek, where I spoke about wellbeing within the legal profession.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Authenticity and being true to yourself and values is so important. Being honest, open and having a good strong work ethic.
I also speak about important topics within the legal profession from my own personal experiences. Whilst these experiences aren’t solely unique to me, in that many from the profession experience similar, I actively speak out about them through my various social platforms which I hope makes those going through similar experiences feel less alone and heard.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Having a social media presence has created incredible opportunities and experiences for me that I would not have otherwise had access to but for having an online platform. I would actively encourage those who have yet to voyage into social media to strongly consider it in a way that works for them.
