We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Henry Lipatov. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Henry below.
Henry, appreciate you joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
I began my journey as a director while living in the capital of Ukraine – Kiev. At that time, I was involved in music and played in a band. We used to commission music videos from various professionals, but we were never satisfied with the results. That’s when I suggested, why not shoot our own music video. And we did it. When the video made its way onto the country’s television channels, other artists started approaching me, and I began directing videos for them. After a few years, I founded a special effects and post-production company, diving deep into the world of graphics. Subsequently, I established a marketing company to effectively sell everything I create. Now, the companies “BeverlyFilms,” “Beverly Films Digital Marketing Agency,” and “Beverly Music” are successfully operating and thriving.
Henry, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My talent lies in crafting visual sequences for artists, cinema, and graphics. I have always dreamt of creating things that bring joy to people’s eyes and hearts. My business emerged precisely from these simple values – finding joy in the process and time spent with wonderful people! We develop concepts for product sales and then craft complete promotional campaigns and social media content.
We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
I met my partner Natalie Cortez at a first chakra retreat just outside Kyiv, while I encountered Den at a cafe near the Universal and Warner Brothers studios. These encounters completely transformed my life for the better. I believe in the law of attraction, and I love people!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I think that the reputation and career I have built were helped by the people I work with! Always, people influence you!
