I currently manage my own social media and marketing so I can personally learn the system and how marketing works. As we continue to grow we are looking for people who are experienced in marketing and content design.
Henriadam, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello, my name is Henriadam Brower and I am the CEO of Irenhadams INC. As a kid, I’ve always been the underdog because of how I looked, it was not until I realized that God does not view me the way others do, that I shifted the “underdog” into something greater. Believing in God made me realize it’s not what’s on the outside that makes a seed grow, it’s what’s on the inside of the seed. As a kid the ways I would find myself out of a dark time, would be both praying, and the messages that would be on people’s shirts. By implementing those into my daily life, when COVID-19 struck, I found it necessary to be able to share those skills with others. I asked God what to do with what I had learned over this period of darkness, and how to positively impact communities through this pandemic that was taking so many people’s family and faith away. Gathering those tactics of prayer and message, I decided to start a clothing brand to inspire people through fashion. This platform of fashion was created to spread a positive message and motivate people through a faith-based clothing line. I am most proud of my brand inspiring other entrepreneurs to start their business. Within two and a half years of being in business, Amazon recently chose my brand to be a part of their “Black Business Accelerator Program,” I now have a storefront with them. I want our customers to know when you support our brand, you are not just spending money— you are agreeing to impact someone else’s life that you may never have a conversation with. You are a walking affirmation.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I started my brand in the living room of my house with no customers. A lot of our customers have come from word of mouth. It is important when you are starting off to market yourself everywhere you go. To gain a solid customer base you want to write down emails and phone numbers to add them to your online marketing list. In return give them a coupon for them to shop. Making sure they understand your brand and that your quality is superior is essential to them coming back to shop. Customer service is everything.
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
I started my business with only $500 from my living room. I didn’t have any material and the start-up cost was more than the amount of money I had. I blew the first $500 on trying to make a product and figuring out everything. I instantly realized that this was going to be a journey. Luckily I had supportive people around me that loved my idea and what I was doing that wanted to donate to me starting my brand from there my brand has grown each and everyday.
