Hi Helen , thanks for joining us today. We believe kindness is contagious and so we’d love for you to share with us and our audience about the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The Kindest Thing Someone Has Ever Done for Me
After college, I spent a year living in Oxford, England, before moving to Denver for a few years. Denver was a time of adventure and growth, and I was lucky to have an incredible group of friends who made every moment unforgettable. One of our favorite pastimes was cruising around on mopeds—it was our thing.
At the time, I was working as a barista at Starbucks, saving every penny I could to buy a candy apple red Honda Metropolitan moped. It was my pride and joy. One morning, as I stepped outside to head to a nearby café, I realized my moped was gone. Stolen. I was absolutely devastated.
A few weeks later, my friends completely surprised me. They had all pitched in to buy me a new moped. I was speechless. This act of kindness was so unexpected and overwhelming—it showed me the true power of community and generosity.
That moment has stayed with me ever since. It taught me how meaningful it is to step up for the people around you, especially when life throws them a curveball. I’ve never regretted being generous, only the times I’ve hesitated to be. My friends’ kindness changed how I approach relationships and challenges, and it’s a lesson I carry with me every day.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m thrilled to share the story of Revelrita! I’m the proud founder of this mobile bar business, and it’s been such a rewarding journey to get here. Revelrita was born out of a love for creating meaningful experiences, bringing people together, and, of course, serving incredible drinks in a way that’s as fun as it is effortless.
The idea started when I saw an opportunity to turn a classic pony trailer into something special—a mobile bar that could roll into any event and instantly elevate the vibe. With no prior building experience, I dove headfirst into the project, learning as I went. I wanted to launch on Sept 7, 2024 for my sisters surprise 40th! When it all came together, Revelrita was not just a bar but a celebration on wheels.
At Revelrita, we offer more than just craft cocktails (though our drinks are pretty unforgettable). We provide a full-service bar experience designed to take the stress out of hosting. We bring everything: alcohol, mixers, bartenders, music, custom menus, and even the ice! Our ice is pretty dang incredible if I do say so myself! Guests can simply show up and enjoy—no long bar lines, no hassle, just good vibes.
What sets Revelrita apart is our attention to detail and how we make every event feel personal. From our retro cowboy aesthetic to the hand-curated cocktails like “Maybe I Should Get Bangs” or “Empty Nesters,” every detail is crafted to leave a lasting impression. Plus, we’re not just about cocktails—we’ve got beer on tap, wine options, and a commercial-grade sound system to set the perfect mood.
We solve a problem most event hosts face: making sure the bar runs smoothly without the stress of planning, shopping, and logistics. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, birthday party, or a random Tuesday celebration, Revelrita ensures the drinks flow, the music plays, and everyone has a fantastic time.
I’m most proud of the transformation of the pony trailer itself. It represents creativity, resourcefulness, and the belief that with a little hard work, you can turn an idea into something real. It’s also a testament to the support I’ve received from friends, family, and the community who believed in this dream and cheered me on every step of the way.
For anyone considering booking Revelrita, here’s what I want you to know: We’re not just here to serve drinks; we’re here to create an unforgettable experience. Whether it’s our signature cocktails, the custom playlist we create for your event, or the energy we bring, our goal is to make your event truly special.
Revelrita is more than a bar—it’s a celebration, a vibe, and a whole lot of fun.

Any fun sales or marketing stories?
One of my favorite stories about taking a creative risk goes all the way back to my first job interview, and while it wasn’t technically a marketing role at the time, it was definitely the start of my love for using creativity to stand out.
I was fresh out of college and interviewing for a role I really wanted. As I was preparing, I thought, “How can I make sure they don’t forget me?” So, I wrote a jingle for their company. It wasn’t a polished performance or a big production, just me and my (mediocre) singing voice.
Would they think I was too out there? Too unprofessional? But I went for it and shared it with them hiring team.
The jingle not only broke the ice, but it also opened up a conversation about how I approach challenges with creativity and humor. I got the job, and to this day, I credit that moment with showing me the power of taking a creative risk—even when the odds feel stacked against you.
That experience has stayed with me in every marketing or sales challenge I’ve faced since. Whether I’m crafting a campaign for my mobile bar business or brainstorming a way to connect with clients, I always ask myself, “What’s the jingle moment here? How can I be memorable and make an impact?” It’s a lesson I’ll never forget! And I’m still making jingles today!!

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Remember the Titans has profoundly shaped how I think about leadership and teamwork. The way Coach Boone navigates resistance and unites a divided team is a reminder that true leadership isn’t about authority—it’s about earning respect through vision, integrity, and resilience. His unwavering commitment to his values, even in the face of overwhelming odds, inspires me to stay focused on my goals while empowering those around me.
One of the most impactful moments in the film is when Julius tells Bertier, “Attitude reflects leadership.” It’s a powerful truth. As a leader, your energy, decisions, and approach set the tone for the entire team. This idea has stayed with me, especially when faced with challenges. If I want my team to embrace positivity, collaboration, and innovation, I have to model those behaviors myself.
The film also emphasizes the importance of valuing individual strengths while working toward collective success. Coach Boone’s ability to bring out the best in each player while fostering unity is a lesson I apply in my own business. It’s about creating an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and motivated to contribute to a shared vision.
Remember the Titans reminds me that success isn’t just about winning—it’s about how you lead, how you inspire, and how you bring people together to achieve something greater. It’s a philosophy I strive to embody every day in my work.
