Heidi, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been one of the most interesting investments you’ve made – and did you win or lose? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)

In 2020, during the pandemic, while I was pregnant is when I decided to follow my career in Real Estate. Getting licensed as a real estate agent is an investment. From getting the course, to being a member of the National Association of Realtors and everything in between. Real Estate is not just about helping someone buy or sell. You are constantly learning, every transaction is different, every day is different. As Warren Buffet says: ” By far the best investment you can make is in yourself”. And as challenging as it is, I believe it’s the best investment I’ve made in myself. It takes time, dedication and hard work to see a return on that investment, but definitely well worth it.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Heidi Cherubin, I was born in Miami and raised in Haiti. I have a degree in Architecture & Interior Design. Before getting into real estate, my career at Closet Factory was a mixture of Interior Design, Project Management, and Sales. These experiences provided me with valuable skills that I use daily in real estate negotiations and always putting my clients first throughout the entire process of one of the biggest investments of their lives.

I desire to help families own their home, my ambition, and my love for homes at a young age made becoming a real estate specialist a natural fit. I get a thrill from touring properties and with my past experiences in Interior Design, it’s with ease I help my clients envision how they can transform spaces and build lives within them.

I’m a luxury real estate specialist known for my commitment and for exceeding my clients’ expectations. As a professional, I am committed to ongoing education to better serve my clients and help educate them so they can make the most informed decisions when it comes to their real estate wants and needs. I wanted to learn and be mentored by the best in South Florida and that is why it was a no brainer for me to join Ancona Real Estate owned by broker Peter J. Ancona who is a top multi-million-dollar listing agent with over 2 decades worth of real estate experience.

My focus has always been to listen to my clients wants and needs as well as taking on the stressful parts to let them enjoy this experience as much as they can. My business is built on communication and trust while embodying the ability to cater all of my client’s real estate needs. I serve most of South Florida, but more specifically Coral Gables, Brickell, and Downtown Miami. My real estate specialty is to list high-end luxury residential and commercial properties. My positivity and mindset is what separates me from the rest.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

The most effective strategy for me is keeping an online presence such as social media. And also networking events where I build relationships. It’s all about the consistency and not giving up.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

With social media, it’s all about staying true to yourself. Build your brand by showcasing what services you offer and also by educating your audience. It’s good to show something different in order to stay top of mind. More imp0rtantly be yourself. One little tip is not to just post and disappear, you have to also engage and interact with others. You have to be consistent, so your audience can remember you.
