We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Heidi Carter a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Heidi, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

The magical formula to success, especially within the realms of entrepreneurship, is a mental and emotional compass set for success, continued repetitive actions, and never giving up.

Most success is created over the long term, that is why never giving up is so important.

Also, we cannot achieve higher than we believe we deserve, so doing the mindset work is super important.

Heidi, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am a money mindset coach and guide, and my body of work is inspired by my own journey with money.

I help my clients create rewrite their money stories through deep coaching and healing, and repetitive mindset reprogramming

What sets me apart is that I use art in my process, which opens my clients up to possibility and gets them out of their heads and into their hearts. I also use spiritual connection to create emotional peace about finances.

I’m very proud of client results—like earning 100k in 4 months—but I’m even prouder of helping my clients truly let go of their anxieties about money, because that allows us to live this beautiful thing we call life!

In my signature program, Sacred Wealth Design, I help my clients look at money through a different lens via deep healing and coaching. They rewrite their money story, and learn to think of money as a friend. We get their finances in order, and make sure they are earning at their highest level.

I absolutely love the work that I do!

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

One of my favorite ways to find the people who need to work with me, is through speaking and leading company trainings.

I was deathly afraid of speaking in the beginning, but have grown to love it as it is an opportunity to lead a group through an aligned process. It is so rewarding to watch members of the group bond, and help one another, and to see all of the new awareness developing in real time, in person.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

When I finished my coaching training I was SO excited to begin working with clients but quickly realized I had no idea how to get clients, let alone run a business.

I needed a coach!

I decided to invest in myself and got my first business loan through my bank.

I immediately hired a business coach.

I’ve invested in myself and my business many times since, and have learned so much from each mentor I’ve worked with.
