Our brand name “On and Off the Course” represents the versatility of our fragrances, which can be enjoyed both on and off the golf course. It came to me while playing golf, realizing how scents can evoke memories in various settings. Our slogan, “Fragrance and Golf is Truly One Bond We All Share,” highlights the universal connection between fragrance and golf, bringing people together through shared experiences. Overall, our brand is about blending the worlds of fragrance and golf seamlessly.

Hayden Sylte, the founder of ON AND OFF THE COURSE, partners with top golf clubs and resorts worldwide, embracing golf as a universal connection. She shares her travel adventures through ON AND OFF THE COURSE, along with her signature scent, Dublin Rum, a souvenir for travelers. Mixing fragrance, fashion, and golf, Hayden expresses herself and enhances her mood.
ON AND OFF THE COURSE embodies Hayden’s story, with Dublin Rum as its essence. Inspired by memories and emotions, the brand creates unique scents that evoke strong feelings. Hayden believes in the power of looking, smelling, and feeling good to boost performance, whether on or off the golf course.

Building my audience on social media has been a journey rooted in authenticity. With a focus on golf and fashion, my platform has organically grown over time, reflecting my genuine interests and experiences. Here’s how I did it and some advice for those starting out:
Authenticity: I stayed true to myself and shared content that genuinely resonated with me, whether it was about golf, fashion, or my personal journey. Authenticity builds trust and connection with your audience.
Consistency: I consistently posted high-quality content that aligned with my brand and interests. Regular posting keeps your audience engaged and helps grow your following.
Engagement: I engage with my audience by responding to comments. Building relationships with your followers fosters a sense of community and loyalty.
Variety: While my platform is primarily golf-based, I also incorporated content from my background as a former model in fashion. Offering a variety of content keeps your audience engaged and attracts a diverse following.
Collaboration: I collaborated with other, brands, and organizations in the golf and fashion industries to reach new audiences and expand my reach.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me has been word-of-mouth referrals. Satisfied clients who have experienced the quality of my products or services firsthand have been instrumental in recommending me to their friends, family, and colleagues. These referrals not only bring in new clients but also tend to be of high quality since they come with a built-in level of trust and credibility. Additionally, maintaining a strong online presence through social media and my website has also attracted new clients who discover my brand through organic search or targeted advertising. Overall, while various channels contribute to acquiring new clients, word-of-mouth referrals have proven to be the most effective and rewarding source for growing my business.
