For me ,one of the craziest things I’ve experienced was being talked about,in a group chat amongst so called friends,, about what they saw in my video,,, It was heartbreaking ,at the time,however it was needed,,It’s what helped me grow,it’s what help me know, everyone isn’t going to like you or what you do,get over it,,but if you like it ,it’s a must that you give it all you got,,,..That day I learned when you are growing into the you ,that GOD created ,things are going to make you uncomfortable,things are going to feel like its caving in ,,but your Job is to have faith and remain consistent,,, Because surely after the difficulties comes. So the Ha is apart of my name and being high off life and all the beautiful mercies the creator grant us daily ,so never take it for granted…

Striving and determined it’s time you only live once

Flava came from my taste it’s unique and full of taste so flava just had to be apart of my name…

So that’s how I came up with my name,but as far as my Brand and my mission

Is to incorporate family
Bring the joy back to cooking and family time, making it easy and fun ,not just for the cooks but also for the people who eats it, and prepare it,

What I love about my brand and my concept is , I love doing what I do,, and I love showing others ,how simple it is and convenient, I also developed a character ,to show people you can be young or old ,cool or serious … As long as you adding a little bit of love and fun,,,,.. greatness is going to be the outcome….

What set me aside from others is ..my mission is to get people back in the kitchen,, loving to prepare meals for there family, and what I’m trying to incorporate is giving everyone a role to have ,so it becomes something to look forward to,so everyone feels wanted and appreciated…. And the final goal is for it to become a tradition,, that’s Lost in lots of families today,, hardly anyone sits at the table for family dinner , everyone is on the go ,or on their phones,,and ordering out,,.. Hopefully down the line we can fix that..

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

So basically I built my audience on social media, FB to be exact,by going live, cooking,one day I felt the need to go live cooking a meal that some people in the past struggled with,ill never forget it ,,it was fried chicken,rice and gravy and cabbage, I honestly never knew so many people struggle making rice,lol definitely heard about the horror stories about gravy,,,but anyway I never expected to get the feedback that I did , needless to say people loved it,, and enjoyed watching me,,one of the things I heard,the most was I wasn’t boring,they didn’t have to fast forward,that they was able to watch me from beginning to the end,,they loved how genuinely real I was,,.. and because I loved the responses and the feedback I kept going .. however you can’t please everyone and when you doing good ,, it’s always going to be someone or something,,,that later comes to steal yr joy,but in business,,I like to call it growing pains,,,.. because without that how can you grow,level up ,it’s a mindset,,, sometimes what’s sent to break you make you…it depends on you..

2019 was the make and break year for me ,,,

Sometimes In life ,,we are face with things that can uplift us or bury us…

And I’m here to tell you it does not feel good when the cheerleaders stop cheering,In the beginning people was so intrigued by me , I felt so loved valued and of course I felt like I was the talk of the town,and it felt great until one day I wasn’t …and it crushed me, I got news that someone was shaming me and my business,and what hurt the most,,it came from so called friends,, I was devastated at first…. however I was blessed with an amazing daughter…she came to me and said you don’t know who you are ,, and what you about,,do more ,get better, and grow another audience…and just like that,,, I got back in the game ,I listened to all the criticism good and bad and I changed some things,,, and I made it work for me,instead of against me
