Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Harold Jutajero. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Harold , thanks for joining us today. Looking back at the decisions you made early in your career, particularly whether to join a firm or start your own, do you feel you made the right choice for that stage of your career?
Thank you for having me! Great question. I actually started both Auxxilus Fitness Wear and Auxxilus Media, while also joining The Pearl of the Philippines as the Director of Brand Awareness. Looking back, it was definitely the right move, especially as I was building my network, which continues to grow. Auxxilus began as a t-shirt business and was rebranded as high-end fitness wear for both men and women. It also became a sponsor for pageant events along with ION.direct, which was a natural fit—we provided fitness wear for the models while gaining visibility and valuable connections. Auxxilus Media handled event coverage, which not only helped promote the brand but also expanded our reach. In parallel, I became more involved in the branding efforts for The Pearl of the Philippines, networking, and building relationships on social media to raise its profile.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Absolutely! My name is Harold Jutajero, and I’m the CEO of Auxxilus Fitness Wear and Auxxilus Media, as well as the Director of Brand Awareness for The Pearl of the Philippines. Auxxilus is all about providing high-end fitness gear for both men and women at an affordable price point. What really sets us apart is our commitment to offering better value than brands like Lululemon, Alo Yoga, Athleta, and many more without compromising on quality. Beyond that, Auxxilus is dedicated to giving back—donating to non-profits and organizations that are making a difference in the community.
In my role with The Pearl of the Philippines, I’ve had the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and expand our reach by connecting with key people and raising the brand’s visibility. Additionally, Auxxilus Media plays a crucial role in capturing event coverage and amplifying the impact of the initiatives we sponsor, creating a powerful synergy between both brands that helps build a lasting ecosystem.
How did you build your audience on social media?
For anyone looking to build an audience on social media, especially if you’re just getting started, it’s important to take a step back and reassess your accounts. Many of us use social media for personal reasons, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, if you’re serious about growing your brand and building a dedicated following, you may need to make some changes. This could mean starting fresh with a new account or archiving older personal content to make room for business-focused posts—whether that’s about your brand, events you’ve attended, or professional achievements.
For me, that meant curating a feed that reflects what I do and who I am. I updated my bio to clearly communicate my mission and vision, so followers immediately know what value I bring. Beyond that, I’ve leveraged my PR efforts, collaborated with Auxxilus Media, and networked with high-profile individuals to establish a strong foundation and grow my presence in a meaningful way.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The key to growing your clientele lies in truly listening to your customers and addressing their needs. Whether it’s adding a sizing chart, offering the right product variations, or launching a new collection based on their feedback, the goal is to solve their problems. When you understand what your customers are struggling with, you become the solution to their pain points—like providing the relief they’ve been searching for. Once you tap into this, you’ll see your clientele grow exponentially.
