We recently connected with Hao Wen (Claudia) Chung and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Hao Wen (Claudia), thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I have over seven years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, starting my early time of the career at Warner Bros. Discovery and continuing my journey at FOX One, where I currently support the launch and growth of a streaming platform serving sports, news, and entertainment audiences.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work across a wide range of digital marketing, brand, and creative initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns for major media properties. Over the past two years at FOX One, I have particularly enjoyed contributing to some of the most significant sporting events in the industry. The fast-paced nature of sports marketing, combined with the scale and visibility of these events, has allowed me to continuously challenge myself creatively while developing strategic solutions that engage audiences across multiple platforms.
One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was leading the development of digital marketing assets for the 2023 Super Bowl LVII. In this role, I partnered with major distribution and technology platforms, including Amazon, Roku, Apple, Google, VIZIO, and Samsung, creating and delivering digital campaigns that reached audiences across a variety of connected TV, mobile, and digital ecosystems.
Seeing creative work that I helped develop come to life across these high-profile platforms during one of the largest sporting events in the world was incredibly meaningful. It reinforced the importance of thoughtful design and strategic storytelling, knowing that the work was reaching millions of viewers and contributing to a broader audience experience. Moments like these have been especially fulfilling because they demonstrate the tangible impact of creative work—connecting brands, content, and audiences at scale while supporting important business objectives.
What continues to excite me most about working in media is the opportunity to be part of culturally relevant moments that bring people together. Whether supporting major sports championships, entertainment launches, or streaming initiatives, I am passionate about creating compelling visual experiences that not only meet business goals but also resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impression.
Hao Wen (Claudia), before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have spent most of my career working as a freelance graphic designer, collaborating with clients across the media, entertainment, sports, and technology industries. This experience has allowed me to work on a wide variety of projects while developing strong creative, communication, and project management skills.
Throughout my career, I have enjoyed partnering with different teams and brands to create impactful visual solutions that support business and marketing goals. From digital campaigns and brand development to marketing assets and presentations, I am passionate about creating thoughtful design that connects with audiences and delivers results.
I am currently working in the entertainment and streaming industry, where I continue to expand my creative capabilities while contributing to large-scale marketing initiatives and high-profile campaigns. I enjoy both the creative process and the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals who continually inspire me to grow as a designer.
Today, I operate my freelance design business, Possibility of Becoming. Through my work, I strive to build strong client relationships, bring ideas to life through design, and continue learning and growing with every project. I look forward to taking on new creative challenges and helping clients achieve their goals through thoughtful and effective design.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
As I look ahead, I hope to continue learning, growing, and challenging myself both personally and professionally. I am naturally curious and enjoy exploring new ideas, industries, and creative opportunities. Because I thrive on variety and continuous growth, I am always looking for ways to expand my skills, push my creative boundaries, and take on work that inspires me.
I believe creativity is most meaningful when it can make a positive impact. Whether I am helping a client launch a new initiative, strengthen their brand, or connect with their audience, I take pride in using my creative talents to support their goals and contribute to something larger than myself. Every project presents an opportunity to learn, solve problems, and create work that delivers value.
Ultimately, my goal is to build a career that remains both fulfilling and enjoyable. I want to continue working with passionate people, collaborating on meaningful projects, and helping clients achieve their missions through thoughtful and effective design. As long as I am learning, creating, and making a positive impact through my work, I know I am moving in the right direction.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe my reputation has been built primarily through the relationships I maintain with my clients. I prioritize long-term partnerships over short-term gains, and I focus on building trust through consistency, clear communication, and reliable delivery.
Rather than treating projects as one-off transactions, I aim to understand each client’s goals and contribute meaningfully to their success. I’ve found that this approach naturally leads to stronger collaborations, repeat work, and referrals over time.
While business outcomes are important, I’ve always placed greater value on sustaining positive, long-term relationships. I believe this mindset has been key to building my reputation and continued growth in the industry.
