Hannah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?
I feel like I started it exactly when I was supposed to. Not a day too late, Not a day too early. No regrets (; Life is too short for that and life is too long to worry about what I haven’t started in my life up to that point. Although I think it’s a great question to think about.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I fell into art by for one drawing on all of my schoolwork, and just having a love for expressing myself whether it was through journaling or writing when I was younger. I would spend hours in my room just drawing cars or graffiti in my sketchbooks then drawing at school then as I got older, I got more into digital art & started designing websites through Wix. I found a love in design in the way that things worked together. How things were engineered, and the logistics of how certain forms of creativity came together. I always found/find myself in situations and connected to art or poetry, or at least the Art/Design world in someway. I’ve always provided services such as web design and illustration to different clients from galleries, to restaurants to professional athletes. This really taught me the importance of having your own brand and knowing what you stand for and how much you contribute with your own creativity, no matter if you went to school for Art or not. I think all of these experience overtime always had an impact on my life and I guess I just wanted to be another person that just lived as a creative as an artist as a designer without limiting what that actually meant for me.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The process of learning, a new skill, or the process of learning, something that you didn’t know that you could do it’s like a breakthrough almost. Any question anything that you’re dealing with in your life can almost always be solved with something creative for me that’s painting and writing poetry, or journaling my experiences throughout my life. Again for me it’s all about the process.
Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
I think it’s something that’s very interesting and something that I definitely would like to get to know more of. I know a few artists that have their own NFTs and I’ve even thought about creating some of my own. It’s something that’s there and it’s just another tool that can be used for artist and that always a great thing to me.
