We recently connected with Hannah Fleshel and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Hannah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Showing clients you appreciate them is something I think most folks want to do – but it’s not always clear how to do it in a meaningful way. What’s one of the best examples of client appreciation you can share with us?
I moved five times in the first five years of my marriage; it was exhausting and scary. As a realtor I try to make the process of home buying easier so that no one has to experience the dread I originally had. I like to educate people on the process and hold their hand through the entire experience..but even after their transaction is complete we stay in touch. A home isn’t just a house. I want them to also create a new community. I do client appreciation events and continue the education process, about home ownership and maintenance.

Hannah, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I always was interested in real estate and design. I would your model homes for fun in my home town of San Diego, California. My Dad owned his own brokerage and I always thought I would work with him. My husband’s job took us all over so I never got to settle back in San Diego. When I turned 40 I decided I would make the jump and get licensed. Nine years later I am still loving it. Life is a juggle between my six kids and my husband’s work with Jewish Emory University students but I get immense satisfaction to see other families settle down or make wise decisions to invest in their futures. I believe in real estate and the power it can do for generational wealth.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
People are sometimes afraid of being successful. I have taken a great course called BOLD (business objections. Life by design) that has helped tear down my own personal story about money. know that sounds crazy. Sometimes people have issues about making money. Money is a tool to do good with. I pray every day that money can flow through my hands so I can accomplish more, do more, and be more for my family and community .

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I care about my clients and building a relationship. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense to sell or purchase a home. I truly want to be there to do what is best for my clients. It isn’t about me and my needs but my clients
