We recently connected with Hanna Mehrabani and have shared our conversation below.
Hanna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
1-My mission at Seeb Organics was to create formulas that bridge + honor ancient alchemy of the East and the modern science of the West through sophisticated technology such as Ozonation + Sound frequency harmonization.
2-My mission at Seeb Organics skincare was to formulate with our wild harvested ingredients from the farms we co-manage internationally with the main focus on optimal healthy soil as well as my own beekeeping practices extracting raw and unfiltered honey and include it in every formula. All of our biodynamic and regenerative farms have beekeeping practices. This is to ensure biodiversity of soil and crops.
3-My mission was to have a female soil scientist for every farm to measures soil quality of organic matter, minerals, and the quality of water. As an Earth Scientist I believe, soil absorbs everything toxic and nutritious that in turn goes directly into and onto our bodies through food + skincare.
4- My mission was to be involved in every aspect of where our ingredients originate and how well they are cultivated.

Hanna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Hannah Mehrabani and I am a degreed Earth Scientist/Geophysicist born in Iran and raised in North America. I am the founder and formulator of Seeb Organics skincare, self-care, and animal-care products. After discovering 4 oil and gas wells in Alberta Ca, I decided to leave the destruction of nature industry and explore what I always had a passion for. I switched from fracking for oil + gas to formulating with earthly oils.
Seeb in Farsi means apple and for Persian’s Seeb is a symbol of health, inner wellness + glow which results in outer glow.
We are female and family-owned company that empowers women and families who work on our co-managed farms in Iran, Egypt, Morocco and Kenya, where we source our sustainable + sacred ingredients for our skin-care and self-care products with transparent formulas. We have about 500-1000 women in total on the farms depending on the season.
Our Skincare comes from ingredients that are pure from Mother Earth, “The Sun, the Soil and the Water in between” which is our motto and our logo. We bridged the principles of ancient alchemy from Iran, Africa, and ME with the sophisticated science of our modern times.
Everything is Hand-selected, hand-extracted and handmade with Wildcrafted Ingredients. No synthetic fragrance and parabens, no alcohol, + no animal testing. Everything is done with ancient farming practices, AKA biodynamic.
Through extensive research I was able to create techniques using ozonation, micronization and sound frequency to thin out our oil-based serums for faster absorption + and no grease without losing its natural + biological properties. As a result the oil molecules are smaller in order to help assist with absorption and entering your skin faster. The process of ozonation transforms all of our formulas to be highly anti-microbial, anti-viral and anti-bacterial.
Micro-management and the meticulous overseeing of each step of production has resulted in peerless products at Seeb Organics, made with love, care, and complete transparency. These results can only be made possible through 100% hand-selection of organic plants, soil specialization, organic flower extracts, and cold pressed oils.

How’d you meet your business partner?
My co-founder and business partner is my younger sister. She and I traveled for 5 years together in Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe in search of organic, biodynamic farms where we can source our sacred ingredients. In 2011, we decided to start Seeb Organics in Iran with the hopes of entering domestic pharmacies as an organic female owned brand. This is where I started to learn ancient techniques of formulations for skin and self care practices.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The best strategy for my company to grow organically has been going on podcasts with people I respect and like in the health, wellness and fitness sector. This has created the most authentic way for people to find me and support my small business.
