Hanisha , appreciate you joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
Beautiful Peace (formally known as Beautiful Peace Nail Studio) began as a full service Nail Salon.
I opened the doors to Beautiful Peace back in 2019 and at first, business was going pretty good until Covid had it’s impact on all small businesses including mine.
I continued to fight through all of the challenges and tried to continue to build my business, but my nail business continued to take a nose dive.
In the midst of all of that, I was faced with some health issues that required me to undergo surgery.
With me facing some serious health issues, I made a conscious effort to change my lifestyle to see if that would benefit me and my journey back to good health.
Along with making those personal changes, I decided to implement some changes within my business and decided to pivot and totally changed how Beautiful Peace would be represented and focused on helping assist others along their healing journeys!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a certified Sound Healer and a Reiki/Tuning Fork Practitioner. I embarked on my own personal healing journey several years ago and by doing so, I was inspired to help assist others along their healing journeys.
Beautiful Peace was founded late 2018 and opened the doors to the public in March of 2019. Beautiful Peace (formally known as Beautiful Peace Nail Studio) began offering holistic and wellness services in 2021 and has since fully transitioned solely into a holistic and wellness center.
I focus on helping each client discover their beautiful peace within with the healing modalities that I currently offer which includes Aura Cleansing, Chakra Balancing, Color/Art Therapy, Mindful Meditation, Sound Therapy, Spiritual Foot Soaks, Tea Time, Tuning Fork Therapy and more.
I am dedicated to assisting each client with their wellness needs with personalized care through the services provided at Beautiful Peace.
I am compassionate about helping each client along their healing and spiritual journey!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I believe that I am able to build a good reputation within the wellness industry through my ability to make a genuine connection with each of my clients.
I also believe that I stand on making a positive impact on each person that enters Beautiful Peace.
I also pride myself on creating a more personalized experience based on the individual needs of each person that comes to me for their holistic and wellness needs.
I firmly believe in also providing excellent customer service and I continue to do so with the services that I offer.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
In 2023 financially things changed for me and I was faced with a tough decision to either close my business or to try and find a more economical way to still do business and keep my dream alive!
I decided to relocate my business to a neighboring city. That meant that I would have to downsize in square footage and get rid of some equipment, but making those sacrifices turned out to be a true blessing in disguise.
Business has actually picked up and my clients have expressed that they love the new location better than the last location.
I am thoroughly overjoyed that I trusted the process and was not afraid to make a change!
