Alright, Hana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew I wanted to go down the creative path when I realized music was more than just a hobby for me – it’s how I express myself. I’ve been into music for as long as I can remember, always curious and experimenting. The more I got into producing, performing, and teaching, the more I saw how music connects people on a deeper level. It’s not just about playing notes; it’s about sharing emotions that words can’t quite capture. That’s why I decided to turn my passion into my career.

I’m Hana, a passionate music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher originally from Czech Republic, now based in the UK. With a BMus (hons) and MSc degree, along with a Pedagogical diploma, I offer a diverse range of music and production services, including composing, performing, recording, and editing. I provide online or in-person lessons in music theory, production, and instruments like drums and piano. My background includes professional international performances with orchestras, collaborations with successful artists around the world, and several years of teaching. As a female music producer and drummer, I’m committed to supporting the under-representation of women in the music industry. My focus involves collaborating with fellow artists and imparting my experience and skills to the younger generation. I also continue to learn and evolve by creating my own music.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My creative journey is about pursuing happiness by doing what I love, spreading positivity and inspiring others. I believe that following my passion is essential for personal fulfillment, even though it can be challenging at times. Whether I’m composing, performing, or teaching, my aim is to use music to connect with people, express emotions and make a positive impact on the world around me.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The best part about being an artist or creative is getting to share your unique perspective and creativity with others. Creating something from your imagination and seeing it resonate with others, whether it’s a painting, a song, a story, or any other form of expression, is incredibly fulfilling. Plus, there’s nothing like the freedom to explore your passions and be yourself through your art. It brings a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose to your life.
