Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Hana Alizai. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hana , appreciate you joining us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
When I first started REVERE, the motivation behind launching the business was rooted in a deep-seated passion for bridging the gap between English and Western equine cultures. Coming from a Pakistani background, I was aware of the rich equine traditions within my heritage. However, I noticed a lack of platforms that highlighted these cultures and provided a voice to the diverse individuals within the equestrian world.
I saw an opportunity to create a space that not only celebrated equine culture but also fostered a community where both enthusiasts and newcomers could come together. This vision led me to plan events and form partnerships with brands of all sizes. My goal was to bring together people from all walks of life—those already immersed in the equestrian lifestyle and those who were curious to learn more.
Through REVERE, I aimed to elevate the perception of the horse world from merely a sport to a vibrant lifestyle rich with traditions and stories waiting to be told.
After solidifying my vision, I began by translating it into tangible elements designs, a logo, and branding that would resonate with both international and national audiences which helped set the tone for REVERE.
Next, I focused on building a media team and developing strategies to engage with our audience digitally. Our launch was met with significant interest and traction, which was encouraging and rewarding. However, was one of the biggest challenges post-launch was adapting to the fast-paced growth and the high level of interest from individuals and brands. For example, our partnership with Longines marked a significant milestone, allowing us to position our events on a global scale.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Q: For those who may not be familiar with you yet, can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you got into your industry?
I’m Hana, the founder and CEO of REVERE Magazine, a media and lifestyle platform rooted in equestrian culture. I grew up horseback riding, and that connection to horses has shaped so much of who I am and how I work. My love for the equestrian world has always gone beyond the sport—it’s about the lifestyle, the history, the craft, and the community. That passion eventually became the foundation for REVERE.
Q: What inspired the launch of REVERE?
I saw a gap in how equestrian culture was being represented—especially when it came to storytelling, design, and inclusion. There wasn’t a space that reflected the richness of the community I knew and the diversity I grew up with. I wanted to build something that felt both elevated and accessible—a brand that honored tradition but wasn’t afraid to evolve it. That’s what REVERE is all about.
Q: What kind of products, services, or creative work does your brand offer?
REVERE produces editorial content, creative campaigns, and branded experiences. We partner with both independent and legacy brands to tell authentic, meaningful stories across fashion, heritage, and equine culture. We also host curated events that bring our community together in immersive, elevated ways. And soon this year, we’re launching The Stable—a marketplace showcasing equestrian brands that share our values around craftsmanship and storytelling.
What problems do you solve for your clients or audience?
We offer a fresh lens in a space that’s often underserved. Our clients and partners come to us because we understand how to bridge equestrian heritage with modern culture. We help brands stay relevant, tell more compelling stories, and connect with an audience that values both authenticity and innovation. For our readers and followers, we create a space where they feel represented, inspired, and invited in.
Q: What sets you apart in your field?
We don’t just report on equestrian culture—we shape it. What sets REVERE apart is our editorial point of view and creative execution. We’re intentional with everything we put out—from the visuals to the voices we feature. We’re building a brand that resonates beyond the barn, while staying true to the spirit of the horse world.
Q: What are you most proud of so far?
I’m proud of the way we’ve grown—organically, but with impact. We’ve built real trust in our community while also partnering with global names like Longines and Equellence. But honestly, what I’m most proud of is that people see themselves in what we create. That’s always been the goal.
Q: What’s one thing you want potential clients, readers, or collaborators to know about you or your work?
That REVERE is more than a publication—it’s a platform for meaningful cultural storytelling. We care deeply about the details, the people behind the scenes, and the legacy we’re contributing to. If you’re looking to create something intentional, relevant, and built to last, we’re the right partner.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
Q: How did you meet your co-founder and business partner, Nana?
It’s actually a funny story! Nana Sarfo, founder of Equellence and connected through our mutal interest in fostering equine communities and entreprenurial passion but it wasn’t until we had a casual conversation about out companies we really clicked. At first, we were just two people sharing similar interests and passions for the equestrian lifestyle, but we quickly realized we had complementary strengths and visions.
We both had ideas about how to shake up the industry, but we approached things differently. Nana’s experience in content creation and my background in creative direction and business strategy made us the perfect pair. After several conversations and brainstorming sessions, we realized that we could bring our visions together to create something special—and our business partnered
Our partnership with Equellence has been nothing but revolutionary for both of our businesses, with our first event activation being hosting in partnership with Desert International Horse Park and now aproaching our largest project yet with attending the Longines Global Champions Tour, we are constantly growing our client and brand base to develop even larger activations.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Q: Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
When I first started developing the concept for REVERE, I was still in high school. I’ll be honest—I was never someone who was academically driven in the traditional sense. I’ve always been ambitious in a different way. I was the kind of person who wanted to jump straight into the real world and start building—scaling ideas that lived in my head long before I had the tools to make them happen.
My biggest dream back then was to become the Editor-in-Chief of a fashion publication. So originally, REVERE was born from that—an outlet to create a fashion-forward community that felt both elevated and inclusive.
But over the years, as I gained experience in social media management and creative direction, I found myself naturally blending those skills with my lifelong passion for horses. The equestrian world had always been a huge part of my identity, and at some point, it just clicked: why not create something that honors both sides of who I am?
Building REVERE into what it is today—an equestrian publication at the intersection of culture, fashion, and storytelling—required a lot of patience and persistence. I had to pivot, refine, and grow the brand alongside my own growth. But I never gave up on the core idea: to create a platform that’s both meaningful and beautifully executed.
