We recently connected with Hamzeh Kassab and have shared our conversation below.
Hamzeh, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
The idea for Move Weight came from my own journey navigating the fitness industry as both an enthusiast and a consumer. I noticed that so many products were built on hype and empty promises, rather than science and real results. My background leaving high school early to help build my family’s business taught me the value of hard work and authenticity. When I saw how much misinformation and lack of transparency existed in the supplement market, I felt driven to create something different: a brand focused on honesty, quality, and empowering people to achieve real, sustainable results. Move Weight was born out of frustration with the status quo and a desire to inspire others to approach fitness with integrity and dedication.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I got into the fitness industry because I saw a real need for honesty and transparency. After moving to Canada as a child and working in my family’s manufacturing business, I learned the value of hard work and integrity. My passion for fitness started as a personal journey, but as I became more involved, I realized the industry was full of products and promises that didn’t deliver real results. That inspired me to create Move Weight, a brand focused on science-backed supplements and quality athletic apparel. Our mission is to help people achieve real, sustainable results with products they can trust. What sets us apart is our commitment to transparency and authenticity we never make promises we can’t keep, and we always put our customers’ health first. I’m most proud of building a brand that people believe in, and of inspiring others to approach fitness with integrity and dedication.
How did you build your audience on social media?
When I started building my audience on social media, I focused on authenticity and consistency. I shared my personal fitness journey, the challenges I faced, and honest insights about the industry. I made it a point to engage directly with my followers, answering questions and offering real advice rather than just promoting products. Over time, this approach helped me build trust and credibility, which led to organic growth and higher engagement. My advice to anyone starting out is to be genuine, provide value, and stay consistent. Don’t chase trends focus on what you truly believe in, and your audience will find you. This strategy helped me grow my following and establish Move Weight as a trusted brand in the fitness community.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
My approach has always been to maintain open and honest communication with my customers, whether through direct messages on social media or by sharing transparent updates about our products and brand values. I make it a priority to respond personally to questions and feedback, and I regularly share educational content and fitness tips that provide real value. By putting authenticity first and always listening to my community, I’ve been able to build strong relationships and a loyal following who trust the Move Weight brand.
