Hailie , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry.
Dare I say, Super 8 Film is my favorite format and possibly one of the most popular styles right now for capturing your Wedding day! Due to it’s nostalgic and vintage charm, the grainy and imperfect quality of Super 8 film can enhance the emotional depth of the footage. It often feels more personal and raw, capturing the essence of moments in a way that feels authentic and heartfelt. Super 8 film is a perfect add-on for couples looking to create a unique keepsake!
Another fun trend I have been seeing in the Wedding Industry is late-night bites to-go. This isn’t a new tradition but now there’s more creative emphasis on couples incorporating their favorite treats for their guests to take away!! It is the best kind of goodbye! A late-night taco or gelato cart is a fun way to add an element to your evening. It also helps to fill the bellies of the boozy crew!! Let’s be real, who doesn’t like a churro or gelato as a nightcap! It’s exciting to see aesthetically pleasing custom designs that tie in interactive experiences for the guests!

Hello!! My name is Hailie DelVecchio, I’m a Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer based in the Philadelphia area! I love traveling, even more when I combine it with photography! I enjoy an elevated, documentary approach to weddings, lifestyle events and brands. Beyond my passion for photography, I cherish every second with my husband and our two amazing children. They usually yell at me to stop taking pictures of them but I know one day they will be happy I did! :)
A tiny bit about me is I’m a type-A Libra, which means I love a good plan but am always down for an adventure, and of course, I’ll have your back! I love morning matcha, thrifting, listening to the same bands over again on max vol., & the ocean, lol! But seriously I will try to get you in the water if we’re shooting nearby! I love using a mix of photojournalistic and editorial photography styles to capture your story in a fine art aesthetic.
I am most proud of the relationships that have been cultivated through working with clients and vendors! It brings me so much happiness to capture not just moments but the emotions and stories that define couples’ relationships. Creating a personalized and enjoyable experience that reflects the dynamics of each couple and family is very important to me. I truly would not be where I am in my career if it weren’t for a supportive circle of very positive people! My ability to balance being a Photographer while having a fulfilling family life is my greatest joy.
My 2025 Wedding books are now open and I am available for travel, can’t wait to hear from you!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I enjoy the happiness that it brings. I want each person that I photograph to be able to look back at a photo and feel something good from it.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
It’s really simple; My passion is to show people their true beauty through their photos, while always being receptive to learning more! Everyone deserves to have their memories photographed with meaning. That’s always what I’m after, seeking the most authentic version of each person and project I photograph. Staying true to myself and the work that I love creates a sense of purpose and also challenges me to grow as a Photographer!
