We recently connected with Hailey Coffey and have shared our conversation below.
Hailey, appreciate you joining us today. Alright – so having the idea is one thing, but going from idea to execution is where countless people drop the ball. Can you talk to us about your journey from idea to execution?
I have always loved trying new things! Since becoming a Mom I have learned so many things, and I love taking on new adventures with my boys! We love trying all kinds of different food, exploring new parks and finding cute shops and boutiques that offer something for boys too! With encouragement from my friends and family I decided to start blogging to share these findings with everyone! Small businesses hold a very special place in my heart, and I will support every one that I possibly can! I owned a boutique for just under five years and this has taught me so many valuable lessons! This month made a year working for my favorite wellness brand, Pink Stork! I feel incredibly blessed to do something I love, and to be able to support other women on their life journeys! I love meeting new people and encouraging people to really enjoy their life!

Hailey, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
As a Boy Mama of three wild boys, there is never a dull moment in our home! I am blessed to be married to my best friend and absolutely love the life we have built together! I was a small business owner for just under five years, and it was something that not only I enjoyed, but taught me so many valuable lessons! April 2023 made one year for me working for Pink Stork, my favorite wellness company! Not only have the products from Pink Stork helped me tremendously, but I love everything about this company and their mission! I have always dreamed of being able to help inspire and encourage others, and helping women through some of the most exciting and challenging times in their lives is such a blessing!
I decided to start my blog, “Chaos & Coffey” with encouragement from family and friends! I chose this name because I feel it accurately describes our life! I often tell people we are the “hot mess express” but I truly wouldn’t want it any other way! Life can be hard, and we are often faced with many obstacles, but I like to make the most of every moment, and I want to encourage others to do the same!

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes! While my mission is to share all things lifestyle and motherhood, I also want to be transparent and remind others that even when life is hard and stressful, we all are in this together! We are far from perfect, but life isn’t about being perfect! It’s about truly doing what you love with who you love, and that looks different for everyone! I am a firm believer in going after what you want, and if you work hard enough, anything is possible!

How did you build your audience on social media?
Sharing your personal life on social media can be scary, and no matter what you do, people will always have something to say! I have always been an over-thinker, and one who worried about what other people thought of me. As I have grown over the years, I have learned to truly embrace ““Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” Something that has helped me accomplish this is choosing to be unoffended when others have something negative to say. Not everyone will understand your journey, and that’s ok, it’s not for them nor does it matter. However, I truly feel that at the end of the day you will realize there are more in your corner than you could’ve ever imagined, and those that are there are some of the biggest blessings in your life! While I enjoy sharing our experiences and findings, I personally feel that there are some things that do not belong on social media, and you have to decide going into this where you draw the line, boundaries are always beneficial. For those who are just starting out, as I too am new to this journey, I say start with a plan, know what you want your goal to be, map it out, and GO FOR IT! Life is too short to sit around wondering “what if.” If you wait too long you tend to over complicate things, and nothing will ever be perfect, lots of practice and patience for the beginning, and just because something works for someone else, it doesn’t mean it will work for you. It’s ok to fail, but it’s not ok to give up! Your thing is your thing, not theirs!
