We were lucky to catch up with Hailee Denman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Hailee, thanks for joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
I wanted something unique but relatable to the business. I kept thinking of words that had to do with circle or rotation or spin. Finally Circulate came to me. I created a logo, registered the name and started getting to work on a website and marketing and soon Circulate was born.
Hailee, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Of course! I started a 360 Photo Booth back in 2020. I was a single mom and in need of some supplemental income. I’ve always had an ambitious business mind thanks to my hard working parents as examples and I was ready to have something of my own. I found a company that sold the photo booths and was able to finance it. I built a a website, created socials and started spreading the word. I handed out business cards, reached out to event venues and soon the bookings came in! I have loved meeting so many different people and creating such lasting fun memories at all the various events I have been to.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I have spent hours researching event planners, photographer, event venues, etc… trying to cater my social to the specific industry and businesses that align with mine. You have to set aside a lot of time to social media. In today’s world, that’s how you make or break it in my opinion.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Networking! Social media and marketing is important but having a personal recommendation from a friend, family member or previous client is the best. That’s how you know clients and potential clients are talking about your business.
