Haider, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?

Being a business owner of OPalm Decor is a fulfilling journey that I wouldn’t trade for a regular job. It gives me the freedom to take creative risks, develop personalized solutions for my clients, and bring artistic visions to life. Running OPalm Decor has been a journey full of creativity and challenges. One project, a mural for a luxury villa in Los Angeles, really tested me. With a tight deadline and a grand vision from the client, the pressure was intense. I questioned why I chose this path, but as the mural came together, I knew this was exactly why I became a business owner. Balancing multiple projects, like villas and restaurant openings, can be overwhelming, but I thrive on the complexity. Each challenge pushes me to explore new designs and materials, and that’s where I find my growth and passion.
Sure, there are moments of stress and quetioning, but all of them are normal and should be expected. Actually, they are probably the areas most suitable for growth. Just when clients who come to visit their newly transformed area whether a villa, a restaurant, a home and they look at it in disbelief, that is when I know I am on the right track. Seeing the joy it brings to others makes it all worth it.

I’m the proud owner of OPalm Decor, a company that blends artistry with craftsmanship to create unique decor pieces. What began as a hobby working with wood, copper, and steel turned into a full-fledged business, OPalm Decor.

Our mission is to bring art to life, reflecting each client’s vision. We create custom murals, tables, sculptures, and more for luxury villas, restaurants, hotels, and private residences. We’ve had the privilege of working with clients worldwide, helping them make bold statements in their spaces.

What sets OPalm Decor apart is our combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, like router machines and laser cutting, to deliver precision and quality. We also collaborate with interior designers to ensure our pieces integrate seamlessly into their designs.

A recent mural project for an upscale restaurant and hotel not only enhanced the aesthetic but created an atmosphere of elegance and exclusivity. It’s projects like these that highlight the profound impact art has in crafting unforgettable, luxurious experiences.

One of our most rewarding challenges was when we were commissioned to create several custom pieces for a luxury villa with very tight deadlines and high client expectations. The project required long hours and intricate work to meet their vision. Through dedication, creative problem solving, and constant collaboration with the client, we delivered stunning pieces that exceeded their expectations. This experience reinforced our resilience and commitment to delivering exceptional results, even under pressure.
