Haddas, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you share a customer success story with us?
Rotem is an amazing Pilates instructor. When I started Pilates, I knew I was facing a major back surgery due to extreme scoliosis; but I had to wait a year to get my bones strong enough for surgery. Rotem customized a program to strengthen my body for successful surgery. I was very relieved to find a teacher who had in-depth knowledge of anatomy and how to improve my body with appropriate exercises. She was completely aware of the ‘do’s and don’ts’ for my particular situation. When I was finally ready for surgery, the surgeon was amazed at the strength and condition of my body to face major surgery. Without Pilates, I probably wouldn’t have even been walking prior to the surgery. Then, after surgery, my recovery was amazing. The doctors were again shocked at how quickly I recovered. They attributed my success to the way my body was conditioned before surgery.
I started back with Pilates as soon as the doctor permitted, and my recovery continued to shock the medical community. Rotem was instrumental in preparation and recovery from my surgery. Rotem ALWAYS had my best interest in mind! From the first day I walked into her studio, I felt a sense of belonging, love and caring attention to each student.
I’m still doing Pilates and my strength, balance, and physical wellbeing is at a peak.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Rotem, married to Ram Haddas and a mother of four kiddos ages 11, 9, 7 & 3.
I have a Pilates & Rehabilitation Studio and am the Co-founder of “Women in Suit”, which specializes in consulting small business owners.
Since 2004, I have been working in the Pilates industry. I used to teach in many different studios until I opened my own in 2018. In 2019 I opened “Women in Suit”, since I was looking for an effective mentoring and support group. We have worked together for three years. Our goal is to grow and support each other at all levels. Then I took it to the next step and started consulting small businesses. Now we will open Women in Suit virtually, so women from any location can join us.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I created another fascinating business consulting firm due to the difficulties and challenges I faced as a new business owner.
It was in 2019 that I created my own group: Women in Suit. The setting was very clear. In my role as leader, I developed a syllabus with the topics we wanted to cover. The goal was to strengthen the skills needed to run a business and increase revenue. I found my passion in helping other women make their dreams come true. As we all know, Owning a business means a lot of decision making by yourself. Not to mention, you don’t have any experience running a business yet.
Owning a business is mostly about knowing what your business is. Your passion. But there is so much more to it. I had no skills to run a business, no marketing skills, and even no experience selling. I never planned to get into mentoring direction. By leaning on my own, educating myself where I weakest, and outsourcing where necessary, I was able to participate in this amazing mentoring program and empower other women. Or at least know what the steps are they need to grow and think big.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe the community I built as my clientele helped me with my marketing and revenues. Customer service was very significant to me. Even after we grew and I had Studio manager, I was exposed to all defaults.
My favorite tips for building a reputation as a business owner:
1. Be consistent with pricing (no discounts to family or friends), sales every holiday, and customer service
and hiring a professional employee.
2. Creating events to retain customers and also bring new customers to the studio. I invested in this
With a certain budget .
3. I created an anonymous questionary every 3-4- months. I was asking specific questions about
Service, classes, schedules, etc.
4. Customer service was a big part of my vibe. I had a protocol for new clients: Before class, I sent a
Reminder, during class check on them. A day after class send an email to check how they feel
And follow up for their next session. You could use templates to save time and plan your emails
Timing as well.
5. Care for your customers and listen to them. It takes lots of energy, but it’s worth it. They will be
Hooked and trust you and your business.
