Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gustavo A Santana . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gustavo A, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
My first approach to art was to me 5 years old, thanks to Disney cartoons from that time and my arrival in kindergarten, where we were taught several creative options.
The teachers noticed something in me creatively and being a very observant child when it came to capturing some art.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Gustavo Santana, born in Nogales Sonora Mexico, currently settled in Santa Cruz County in Rio Rico Az.
My entry into the industry was around 15 years that I started taking it as a career.
My products and services are extensive. Since I can paint any technique and surface, I have painted school trucks, wine bottles, pedal boat, countless canvases, walls, clothes, whatever the customer comes up with, I make it possible.
The problems I solve for my clients is based on what they need, giving them my opinion and vision of their project in different perspectives and looking for the most original and appropriate for the area focused on their vision.
I think what sets me apart from many people is my way of being, my responsibility, my dedication, confidence, my talent,
I’m proud of everything I’ve improved, and I meet great people, customers who become your friends and that they recommend me to other people.
To my potential customers: it’s giving them a practical experience about my services, honest based on the respect they deserve.
Important topics to know about me:
That I am a very flexible person, I like to support people who are just starting out in this beautiful art career, providing advice. Guides, experiences, confidence to start in this.
This is for anyone who reads this article, through networks they can contact me and I gladly give them a colleague-to-colleague orientation (at no cost).
The art is very beautiful, which helps you in countless situations, personal. Labor, entertainment and mental.
Do not miss the opportunity to create, to follow and not follow rules, to flow and let yourself be carried away by the strokes and that in the end, you will have a very special moment.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
The most important thing is to understand that being an artist is a profession like any other.
It is studied or done in a self-taught way, which give it more respect and openness.
An artist’s work is expensive because, time, design, materials. Projects have a cost.
On the other hand there is part of society where young people are invited to Galleries to exhibit their works and he created that they must be rewarded with something, returning to the subject of time, materials, not just the classic “to make you known”
It’s about us all doing well.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the most important lessons I learned. It’s never doing a project, without asking for an advance for my work.
I had bad experiences, with orders that at the end, were not paid for.
So always ask for a monetary advance for your work.
