Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gupa Ledezma. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gupa , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the story behind how you got your first job in field that you currently practice in.
I was having coffee with my sister Paula and two friends, telling them about emotional intelligence concepts that I thought they understood—until at one point, they stopped me and said, “We have no idea what you’re talking about. Why don’t you host a workshop?”
I decided to give a workshop, and my sister took care of organizing the group and the venue. I felt excited to share something that was so clear to me—it was a very natural topic. I had no expectations about how the workshop would go, who would attend, or what the outcome would be. I was simply happy about the idea of sharing my knowledge.
I was surprised by the response because, in the first workshop, I had 45 participants. I remember that number well because I never imagined it would resonate with so many people. Seeing that response motivated me to consider doing it more often and reaching even more people

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Gupa Ledezma, and I started my project, El Ojo Que Ve La Luz, a few years ago because I have always been a curious person, constantly questioning and exploring everything around me. Through my drawings, I have found a way to share and express the reflections and lessons I have gathered throughout my life.
Beyond my illustrations, I also offer workshops and conferences on Emotional Intelligence. The tools and knowledge I share are part of a journey of awakening, helping people live the life they truly choose and connect with both their light and their shadow.
One of the main problems I help my clients and patients solve is the feeling of loneliness because, through self-knowledge, I open a door to their inner world. This allows them to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationship with themselves, and, from there, build more authentic connections with others.
What sets me apart is the way I merge art with emotional intelligence. I don’t just teach theory—I create an experience that inspires people to see themselves and the world from a new perspective. I strongly believe that developing emotional intelligence allows us to improve our relationships, manage stress effectively, cultivate authentic leadership, and create healthier, more productive environments, both in personal life and in professional settings.
I am very proud of the community that has formed around my work. With over 72,000 followers on Instagram, more than 2,000 students in my workshops, and hundreds of classes taught, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that self-awareness and emotional intelligence have on individuals and teams.
If there is one thing I want people to remember about my work, it is that transformation begins from within. Through my illustrations, workshops, and conferences, I invite others to explore the infinite possibilities that arise when we truly listen to ourselves and connect with our emotions.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Yes!
Momo by Michael Ende, because it made me realize that the real enemy is the “gray man”—the person who lives on autopilot, never questioning their desires or aspirations.
Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza, because it showed me that I am not bound by my past and that change is always possible.
A New Earth and The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, because both emphasize the importance of living in the present moment. They reinforce the idea that life is a continuous now, and that true fulfillment comes from fully embracing the present.
Looking for Spinoza by Antonio Damasio, because it highlights the crucial connection between a healthy brain and our behaviors.
The Universe of Emotions by Rafael Bisquerra, because it beautifully explains the difference between emotions and feelings. For me, it clarifies this complexity in a very visual and accessible way.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I believe it has helped me build a reputation within my market—that energy speaks, and I act in alignment with what I preach. The tools I share are the same ones I personally rely on.
