Alright, Gunner thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Have you signed with an agent or manager? Why or why not?

Never signed with an agent. I do 100% of my booking, promoting, performing, and travel. I am looking for an agent though!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I got into music because it’s the only thing keeping me sane. It’s a form of healing for myself and others. I always knew I wanted to be a performer and song writer. I can’t stand when a writer doesn’t perform their own songs, or when a performer only plays covers. What sets me apart are the songs I write. People hype up these flavor of the week artists and they can’t name one song by them. I like writing chord melodies and lyrics that raise the hair on your arm.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

When I was 13 I watched my mother die from ovarian cancer caused by Johnson and Johnson baby powder. So nothing phases me anymore. In terms of my musical journey, listen to “It’s a Long Way to the Top” by AC/DC. That’s all you need to understand what our journey is like.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Stop downloading music and buy physical copies. Stop supporting wack artists that don’t last. Boycott eventbrite and ticket master and buy into local shows. Shop local, act local, and dress like you’re on an acid trip.
