We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Grover Reece. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Grover below.
Hi Grover , thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
The Greatest talent a Man Can Have is Work Ethic-
It takes the ability to understand that success does not usually fall on your head out of the blue. It’s usually a GRIND of Discomfort and tenacity. So the foundation to bering successful is a recipe that includes
1. Knowing that you are not owed success
2. Understanding that to compete you must first not compete with anyone except your imperfections in whatever idiom you are choosing to complete in.
3. You can work harder and smarter than others and still not get the results until you learn why you are unsuccessful
4. there is a profound difference between being smart (academia), having knowledge (practical application of Academic Knowledge) and Wisdom (The ability through knowledge to see issues coming and be proactive)
Understanding the above and applying it is the first step to being successful .
Order of Operations are imperative .

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started off asa a regular 9-5 working stiff . Started as a retail Manager then as most people in the Bay Area (Silicone Valley) started applying skills to the Tech Industry as a Supply Chain, Operations and Distribution Center Manager. I focused on lean operations and people management. Things that most start ups lack . We started out Youtube Channel in 2018 as It evolved and monetized I still maintained FT employment until I felt that having the day job and channel management and content creation was unsustainable (72 to 80 hours a week.) in May I went full time as a content creator)
The business is Content Creation and Consultation. so the best part of my operation is the fact that I get to be realistic with clients and myself about the pitfalls of Social Media as a substantial career.
My business model is simple -help people find within themselves the resolve to push past their perceived limitations and understand that at one point after applying your understanding of the issue that you are solving sweat equity is the human factor that may be necessary to achieve your goal. I have mentored a number of channels in the space and seeing them achieve their goals.
Finally I’m proud the the THPP brand regardless of if you like the messaging or not has a standard of editing quality that is unmatched in our space,
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I wish I had access to YouTube mentors that could explain to us about the changing Algorithm and Niches. This would have saved us years of time.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Our audience was built by doubling down in our niche and being ourselves . The audience is very mature but entertainment focused so we started doubling down on urban comedy mixed with Social Commentary . This led to over 75k sub growth in one year.
