We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gridliani Guzman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gridliani below.
Gridliani, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
This has been one of the most frequently asked questions in my life, and I would definitely want them to say that I was someone who inspires them to always believe in themselves and achieve whatever they set their mind to. That I was a professional, transparent and honest person who helped them to invest and create the space of their dreams.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Since I was very young, artistic expression has been part of my life, I enjoyed using colors and different shapes to explain or demonstrate my ideas. There was a rule for me: Make it different, orderly and creative. I graduated in Architecture at the Central University of Venezuela and in the blink of an eye, I became a mom, entrepreneur and migrant, leaving everything behind, begins a path of recognizing values as a person, family and assuming the importance of creating a space that not only protected us as a family, but also made us feel safe, happy and very special. Upon arriving in the United States, my journey of reinvention began, and I found my greatest fears and virtues. And after a long search and embracing my talents, GIDEART was born, a combination of Real Estate, Design and Art, where I have been able to help families discover the art of investing in their properties and advise them to create authentic spaces that allow them to elevate the quality of life.
For you, who are reading me right now
I guide you in the search and acquisition of your real estate property, transforming it into a functional work of art and a constant source of inspiration. My commitment is to create a unique and special space, not only for you, but for your entire family. Through the GIDEART methodology, I invite you to embark on a personalized journey towards creativity and a magical encounter with spaces that contribute to the well-being of all.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Along the way, I have had many losses, separations, deep sadness and I have learned that each of these experiences has given me tools to continue growing and believing in myself, although I recognize that it has not been easy, I always look for ways to transform situations, see the positive side, paint it with colors, repair it with new forms and be a source of inspiration for my children. Every person goes through a path with difficulties, but if we see the little lights in that, we can move forward and create a world full of possibilities.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the main lessons I had to unlearn was Multitasking. One of my best qualities in Creativity and when I started to multitask, I became overwhelmed and procrastinated. I managed to combat this bad habit, creating spaces for each activity, working on myself with mentors, looking for people specialized in their area and understanding that to grow you must surround yourself with the right people to guide your way and help you shape your big dream.
When I started delegating activities to the right people, my business started to grow.
When I let myself be guided by mentors, coaches and experts, something in me changed, and it was reflected in my results.
Now investing in myself, surrounding myself with people who inspire me, learning, reading, enjoying quality time with my family and having balance in my life is the result of focusing on each activity and determination to achieve it.
