We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Greysa Lemons a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Greysa, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
Life in itself is a risk. Every step we take carries some level of uncertainty. Each decision we make becomes a part of our story—leading us to where we are now. And that’s where the real challenge lies: THE DECISION.
Endeavor made was created to inspire and equip a generation to pursue their God-given purpose through a lifestyle of grit, offering a wide range of handmade products like crochet beanies, clothing, tote bags, and more.
At the age of 19, as a university student living in California, I found myself navigating the overwhelming question of ‘What’s next?’ I had faced many trials—battling the fear of falling behind, feeling misunderstood, struggling to find a genuine, uplifting community, and longing for friendships grounded in genuine faith— friendships where people did not just talk about Jesus but embodied the Christian lifestyle through their actions.
Much of my journey felt like I was walking alone, pushing me to endure and lean on God through every single moment. I knew I had a specific God-given purpose and passion to see my generation come out of isolation and passivity. That is when I created my life statement: ‘Canceling Isolation and Passivity, Creating Unity and Purpose.’ This guiding principle became the foundation for everything I do, inspiring me to pursue a life of intentionality, character, and grit and encourage others to do the same.
I saw a gap in the market for something that spoke to go-getters—those who were grinding hard but often felt like they were doing it alone, and those who felt called to something greater but needed encouragement to take that next step.
I wanted to create a lifestyle brand that was more than clothing. I wanted it to inspire people to endure, not by hustling for approval, but by listening to God’s voice and taking the kind of action that builds character.
I took another risk, creating community events by encouraging individuals to reshape life’s trials through mindset while pursuing their passions, making purposeful connections, and sharing their own stories of resilience. Endeavor Made became more than a business—it became a mission. A mission to climb the mountain and pull others up with us. I didn’t just want people to wear the brand; I wanted them to live it. There were many moments I felt like it wasn’t going to work, but I held onto the belief that God doesn’t call us to easy things; He calls us to meaningful ones.
Looking back, I’ve realized that taking risks often means saying yes to God even when the path isn’t clear. It’s about believing in what He’s placed inside of you and being willing to take that first step, even if it’s scary. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: God doesn’t call us to perform for Him—He calls us to walk with Him. And when we do, we go further than we ever could on our own. Endeavor is still growing, and it’s more than I ever imagined. The risk wasn’t just about starting a business; it was about stepping into my purpose and creating something that would inspire others to do the same.
Endeavor = grit

Any advice for managing a team?
As a business owner and boss, you are a host. Your brand is a world that you create, and your team, clients, and customers are part of it. In everything you do, you serve the people, not just the company. When people feel valued and supported, they stay. This fosters genuine brand loyalty and lasting connections.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Refer to the intro question at the beginning of the Interview. Endeavor made is all about resilience, perseverance, and grit.
