We recently connected with Gregory Johnson and have shared our conversation below.
Gregory, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
If I could go back in time, I would. Starting earlier would have put me so much further in my career. Although I know Gods timing is everything.
The dream of me acting started when I seen the movie grease as a child. From that moment I wanted it all!
I acted on the dream when I was 20 in college. I did my first play called the angry 12 jurors. Shout to “Michele Davis” believing in me.
I’m content with the time I started. It’s for a reason it was this way.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
For those who don’t know much about me I’m just a high energy, goofy down to earth kid from Cleveland, Ohio. With a smile of gold.
My First agent Tonya Hensley seen me and believed in me. She made my dreams comes true ! She made me a professional in my field. I’m forever Grateful for her and all she does.
The thing that sets me apart is my heart, and character. I’ve always said it’s bigger than me. I feel that way and I want to use my success to help others and give back & promote my savior “Yahawah bahasham yahawashi”. Without him I’m nothing and wouldn’t have life. I believe Denzel said it best, there’s no better feeling than helping someone. That’s the honest to God truth.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
The “ Struggle “ is beautiful and it makes champions. My journey was never easy I’ve experienced being homeless, hungry and not having money. Donating plasma and sleeping in barber shops.
However I never gave up and I kept going because I know God has a calling on me and he puts us through things to build us up. My advice to others will be don’t Quit. Keep going. I know it’s simple but don’t Quit.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes, there’s definitely is one. I do acting for everyone and myself. “ Meaning “ it’s bigger than me and I mean that. I set out to help others and change lives best I can.
I dream to open up a few places where I can help a lot at and be hands on. I know it make a difference in the youth lives and adults who attend. I can’t express to many more details but know I’m working on something BIG !!!!!
