Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gregory DeMyers. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gregory, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
Currently I manage my own social media because its more convenient. It seems to be working well for me because clients contact me weekly for some type of service needed.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
It all really started at the heart of covid. I always had a love for high quality and with much research and practice whether on my own family or first clients, I’ve watched myself grow to another level. I offer photography, videography, streaming services to name a few. What sets me apart, and I say this humbly; is what I do after the photo is taken; the editing. I have an eye for what will capture the audience and it’s important to have that attribute when in business because it attracts more clients. Don’t get me wrong, proper lighting etc plays a big part in how a photo turns out as well. I love when other photographers reach out to let me know how much they love my work. It means a lot because they know what looks good and what doesn’t from a photography stand point.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Posting my work after I finish editing. People like to see proof of what you can do especially in my line of work. I generally post my favorites from the work I did because I think it will capture the audiences attention.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We’ve all heard that before but what I mean by that is, if you trust your eye, what looks good to you, will also look good to others. You can’t please everyone but the goal is to please the majority with your work.
