Gregory, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so we’d love to hear about how you got your first client or customer. What’s the story?
I met my first clients by door knocking for an open house. I saw them looking at another house while driving by it and I asked them “Hey, are y’all looking for a home?” They said yes and I walked across the street and introduced myself. From there, we saw about 9 homes then put in an offer!
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I own and operate Elite Residential Group and have been in business for 8 years, reaching the top 1% of real estate sales people in the U.S. for residential sales. My aim is to put people over profit and treat my clients like family. I’m most proud of obtaining the Eagle Award, a peer-elected award at my office for embodying the culture.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
My first year in real estate, I called over 50,000 people and only made one sale. I then proceeded to double my sales year after year. I didn’t know anyone when I moved to Austin so I picked up the phone and started dialing.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Since we host one of the largest real estate conferences in the country, I created a Facebook group in which I’m the only admin. It’s grown to over 11,000 Realtors from around the world and I’m able to leverage it to gain exposure and meet agents as referrals are a big part of my business.
