We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Greg Perrow. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Greg below.
Greg, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We love asking folks what they would do differently if they were starting today – how they would speed up the process, etc. We’d love to hear how you would set everything up if you were to start from step 1 today.
If I were starting my corporate photo and video company over today, I would prioritize outsourcing key tasks such as editing, marketing, and administrative duties right from the beginning. This would allow me to avoid wearing all the hats myself, allowing me to focus more on delivering exceptional services to my clients. Through outsourcing, I was able to enhance efficiency and quality, ultimately positioning my company for faster growth and greater success. The challenge though is finding good help. this is where you have to be patient and view it as an investment. There will be some financial loss in this area, don’t be discouraged, keep searching for the best help!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
The inspiration for my company came from my passion for photography and videography. Initially, I started by taking pictures of my friends, and I found lighting and composition fascinating. This led me to videography. Before starting this business, I primarily focused on acting, which has helped me tremendously. Having been in front of the camera myself, I understand how to make clients feel comfortable, which sets me apart from my competitors. Helping clients feel at ease is the number one compliment I receive.
We specialize in corporate events, headshots, and branding for both photo and video, working with clients ranging from the medical industry, law enforcement agencies, and much much more! Many clients struggle with establishing a strong digital presence, and we help make their products and services clear and appealing to their target audiences. Our services add value by enhancing their professional image, building trust, and effectively communicating their brand’s message. By showcasing their strengths and achievements through compelling visuals, we help our clients stand out in their respective industries.
What truly sets us apart is our human connection. While understanding our tools is important, our ability to direct and communicate with clients makes them feel comfortable, allowing them to show their true selves. Many clients have told me they’ve never felt comfortable talking in front of a camera, but with me, they felt like they were just having a conversation, which lets them speak freely about their passions.
Our mission is to showcase your achievements and tell your story through compelling visuals. Our vision is to be the go-to company for businesses looking to enhance their brand through high-quality photography and videography, providing exceptional service and unforgettable experiences. My personal touch comes from my walk with God, driving me to never compromise on a job and to give my 100% all the time. This commitment to excellence ensures I never settle for anything less than the best, staying inspired by constantly challenging myself to try new things and keep my work fresh and surprising.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
When I was first starting out, my main goal was to reach new clients and build my portfolio, often doing free work to gain experience. Once I was ready to find paying clients, I invested a significant amount of my savings into marketing. Unfortunately, it was a complete flop. This was very discouraging. Running out of capital and without prospective clients, it became incredibly difficult to move forward.
At that point, I knew I had to get back to basics and get creative with my outreach. I started over by finding ways to reach new clients without incurring additional costs. I focused on emailing, calling, and doing more free work simply for the purpose of networking. It was a humbling experience, but it helped me get back on track and make more educated decisions regarding marketing. This journey illustrated my resilience and taught me the importance of perseverance and adaptability.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My ultimate goal is to build my current business to a point where it can operate smoothly and efficiently through outsourcing and streamlined systems. Looking ahead many years down the road, once I achieve this level of operational autonomy, I plan to redirect my focus back to my passion behind the camera: storytelling. My dream is to establish a film and television production company, where I can fully immerse myself in creating compelling narratives and visually captivating content. This vision reflects my long-term aspirations to expand my creative footprint and continue pursuing my passion for visual storytelling on a larger scale.
