Greg, appreciate you joining us today. Do you take vacations? How do you keep things going – any advice for entrepreneurs who feel like they can’t step away from their business for a short vacation?

Yes, I travel nearly every month to a new location whether its for a few weeks or days. Getting the mind a new environment is the best form of creativity and motivation for myself.

Greg, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Created the world’s first four way volleyball game, CROSSNET. Our goal is to get people outside, active and off their phones again! So far we have an estimated 1,000,000 players who have set foot in a square to play our game and we aren’t slowing down anytime soon!

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

Bootstrapped CROSSNET with the three founders cash on hand, 401ks, investments, etc. Sub ~$30k.

Stayed lean and was very frugal to start our journey.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

Consistency.

Stick with something and don’t stop. Working on one project for multiple years will get you to where you set out to be in the first place. Who knows? It could surpass where you ever thought you would be!
