Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Greg Lawson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Greg, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
The pursuit of being g an independent naturalist/visual artist has taken me to fifty states and seven continents, These lifelong travels have certainly fulfilled a childhood dream for global visitation, but more than that, have introduced an understanding of the common realities shared in the human family.
While it is meaningful to know that millions of images from the Greg Lawson collection are found on walls and in libraries around the world, it is most fulfilling to recount and share the privilege of meeting people and other creatures on a plane that promotes common good.
Since i’m not a bearer of messages that might be deemed divisive, I find a welcome among peoples that occupy all layers of human strata; because my work with other creatures is one that typically;y makes a deliberate attempt to create a bridge of social connection with them, I have been highly rewarded with cross-species interactions that share a common intention and purpose.
By drawing on the positive side of an untold number of such encounters, Ive been able to learn and to share positivity in a most meaningful way: teaching others to know and apply principles that help to weave a bond of acceptance for all creatures living in our unique and, as far as we know, singular universal circumstance..

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Greg Lawson was raised in artful environment and has practiced creativity throughout his life through photography, visual art productions, as an author and publlsher, in the performing arts, and as a gallerist.
He known for his photographic images of the world we live in. Even though he has never been a commercial photographer of any kind, he has independently amassed what is arguably one of the most significant collections of images to be created independently by anyone. They have been created in all still-camera formats from large-format film down to modern digital, focusing on 50 states of the USA and 7 continents of the planet. These images are used exclusively as the basis for his visual art productions, and these in turn blanket the earth.
As a publisher of books and magazines, Greg Lawson has produced over fifty titles of art and travel books and his publications have been honored as ‘the best of the best’ as recently as 2019 at the annual Folio Awards in NYC.
Greg Lawson Galleries have operated in fourteen locations over the decades, with the La Jolla, California location being honored as the best gallery in La Jolla in 2022, so determined by a readers poll conducted by the San Diego Union’ Tribune’s La Jolla Light newspaper.. There are two current gallery locations in Arizona.
Greg Lawson’s mission is to educate and uplift in ways of unity and purpose. With his visual art he chooses to do this by bringing his art of realism into living and work environments. Philosophically he does this by teaching The Principle Model, so-called because it focuses attention on the values of inherent principle as a surpassing way for human management systems. He is the author of “One for All” a book now it its fifth edition, that espouses a Principles First doctrine.
As the founder of the Victory Eagle Project, he is involved nationally in bringing the story of resurgence of the American Bald Eagle to the appreciative attention of students in schools across America.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Recognize that ‘Art is Food’ …. and consume those tasty morsels to benefit yourself and the creative community.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Simply put, what drives me and my creative mission is: Love I love the planet from its geology to its biologic diversity.
