Greg, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
When I decided to turn photography into a business, my wife and I began to brainstorm and she asked, “What do you see when you look at your pictures?” I said, “I see God’s art work.” Then she came up with “His Amazing Art”. I loved it and decided to call it “His Amazing Art Photography.” I really credit the naming of my business to my wife.
Greg, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Eventually, my wife convinced me to take a chance on people and before I knew it, I was getting a lot of calls! I’m most proud of myself for taking a leap of faith to begin capturing people. I would not be where I am today had I not.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
The idea to one day have my own photography studio is what’s driving my journey. There’s nothing like having your own space to create and not worry about paying someone else to rent their space or having to continuously bring clients to your home with limited space.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
You know, I tell people that I never got into the photography business for the money. When I see the smiles on people’s faces and receive calls or text messages from clients that really love their pictures, that is most rewarding for me. I truly love what I do.
