We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Grace Patterson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Grace below.
Grace , appreciate you joining us today. Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
The most important lesson I have learned is to always be over prepared. Knowing your lines to perfection will give you the confidence to play and have fun during a scene. It’s easier to focus on the directors notes when you are confident in the dialogue.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am an actress who has starred in multiple Lifetime Movies: Cheer For Your Life, College Professor Obsession, Spring Break Nightmare, Secrets On Greek Now, and more! I have a rom com coming called Loves Fast Lane and another thriller called Dying For A Bid. I was also in the hit horror film, Slotherhouse. It was a nation-wide theatrical release and #7 on Hulu. I am a writer as well, I have two poetry book available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Target, and Walmart. They are called. A Woman’s World and The Things She Doesn’t Say. I have a memoir coming this year called, Am I Perfect Yet? Which is based on my experience with body image as a former Professional Cheerleader. I also acted in and helped produce the film Insane Like Me starring Eric Roberts! We just sold it to Deskpop Entertainment and it will be released in 2024.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
One of my favorite books that really impacted my mindset is Who Says You Can’t? You do. It was written by Daniel Chidiac! This started my love of motivational books and made me curious about the power of my mind. How we talk to ourselves and how we think plays a key factor in our success. It is so important to be positive and act as if you are already who you want to be. Stop placing things in the future. The time is NOW. Your mind is powerful.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding thing to me is being able to tell stories. Through both acting and writing, I am able to use my pain and turn it into film or books. I grew up in a very non-expressive household that was avoidant so being able to freely express myself is the most amazing feeling. Of course, my favorite way to express myself is through creating.
